Went to an event held at this location. Appetizers were nice and drink selection was nice. Location was also good. Easy access to a few hotels nearby.

I loved my visit to RDG Cafe Annie, for the food and the atmosphere. The restaurant was full of noisy locals as this is something of a Houston institution, and you can go there to sit on the balcony or eat in the restaurant, at pretty well any time of day and as dressed up as you want to be.... RDG was recommended by an old fishing buddy. My wife and I arranged to meet some good friends for dinner, just for-the-heck-of-it mid-week. Our dining mates, coming from down south, had hit some traffic and were running late. The Bar Annie side of the restaurant has an attractive outside seating area on the 2nd floor balcony where we sat at... More

Two great things about this restaurant is the view from the balcony and the crab and avacado nachos! These were delicious! The margarita's were ok. I was quite surprised for such a nice restaurant that the drinks weren't very good! If they worked on the margaritas, it would have been excellent!

From the valet and hostess to the Sommelier and waiter they have great service. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. Very large wine list with a great selection of inexpensive and expensive wines from all over the globe. We had the Ahi Tuna Sashimi and crab cakes for starters, excellent. We followed that with the Filet Mignon and the pork loin... More

I've been here twice plus one time back when it was Café Annie. I am convinced that everything on the menu is delicious. If you want innovative southwest cuisine, this is the place to go. This is a very nice restaurant and they welcome well behaved kids as well.

Had dinner this time, previously been for lunch, both times really enjoyed the food. Service very American (they just say the same things to every guest), but ok and efficient. Would go there again and also recommend.

The place is located in a great area. Great atmosphere, food and service. I have been only for drinks and appetizers and also for dinner several times and every time has been great. I recommend it fully.

We drove into Houston to meet some friends and decided to have a nice lunch at the RDG. Since we got there early it was not very crowded, we ate inside as it was too damp for the Patio. Our waiter JR was very patient with us as one of our friends ran late. I had the Chicken Breast Paillard... More

Electric atmosphere with a great menu. Variety on the menu makes this a great place to take business friends or visiting friends. The food is fresh and prepared with imagination. The wait staff service is excellent. Food and service consistent. This restaurant is a great place for a special get together.
