Back home in Nova Scotia, we have an excellent pub in the town of Lunenburg called the "Knot", and I thought they served the best Knotwurst & Kraut, but the Flying Saucer just blew them out of the water. The German potato salad is as good as any I had in Germany. Them there is the amazing beer selection. It... More

Best beer selection you can find and great food, haven't had anything we didn't like yet. The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable about their selection. It can get very busy and loud but it's still a great place to enjoy good beer and food.

I have become a regular here now for the 7:30 Tuesday Trivia. I have been told that it is one of the most difficult ones in the city. The food is pretty great. I have had the Reuben and several of the wraps. The French fries are decent, but nothing to crave. The beer selection is second to none. If... More

A different selection of beer. Some are terrible some are good. For claiming to have German food this was disappointing. The potato salad and appetizer was boring. The French dip was okay. They did have good beer specials though. The place was also packed when I was there

I was kind of expecting more of a restaurant than a bar, very much a bar that servers food. Great beer selection, if your into beer there's a lot here for you. The menu was somewhat limited with mostly all the expected bar foods. The Hummus was good, the big pretzels are good, did not like the meat balls at... More

Amazing selection of quality beers, great bar food, attentive staff, and a cracking pub atmosphere on any weekday night. Simply put one of the best pubs I've been to for a long time. Enough said.

If you are looking for a place to hang out with co-workers or friends, this is the place for you! Went this past Friday for a going-away work get-together and we all had a blast. The service was awesome and because of the beer selection, there was something for everyone. We tried the pretzels and they were fluffy and flavorful.... More

If you want beer, look no further than the Flying Saucer. Great selection of beers on tap or in bottles. It has two levels with pool tables and darts. Food available, but I didn't eat. Tons of saucers (Plates) on the walls.

We were staying at the new Marriott hotel down the street and they recommended this place to watch a football game and enjoy some food and drink. They have a huge variety of beers and we tried several. We also had their amazingly delicious big toasted pretzels with several varieties of dips to go with them. The staff was friendly... More
