So happy we chose this restaurant.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my sister and her husband's second anniversary. Not only was our food wonderful our waiter, Sean, was superb! He made our dining experience so much fun. My title says it best. 3 of us took a person we sell for from out of town here for a nice meal and we wanted to make a good impression. The food was good, above average for a pricey steakhouse but not great. The big turnoff was all four of us had to break out the cell phones just... More

Had a great meal at V&A's. We had a large party for dinner after a day at the convention center. The service was excellent. Appetizers delicious... the best crab cake I've ever eaten!!! It was full of lump crab and no filler. Calamari and oysters were enjoyable as well. The house salad was very good. For dinner I had the... More

We arrived in Houston in time for dinner, but didn't have a reservation anywhere. We wandered into Vic & Anthony's as it was just a short walk from our hotel. We were seated at the bar because the restaurant was fully booked. We appreciated the accommodation! I had the filet mignon and my husband a NY strip. They were both... More

Every meal I have had here is fantastic. I can't say it is the most amazing food, but the cumulative experience makes this a perfect venue for meetings, dates, or clients. I have used the meeting rooms on the second floor, and they are wired with every possible tool to ensure a quality presentation and/or round table. The decorations and... More

We ate there last night before going to Wicked. The atmosphere is ok but once the tables fill up you cannot even hear talking from your own table. We sat at a booth and a manager and 2 waiters stood in the aisle talking we could hear every word they said,,,,I am sure they heard us say we could hear... More

Was in the area for a Wine deal at Minute Maid and left there a bit hungary. Pulled in to V and A's to hit the bar area (I was in shorts and a polo) for some wine and a few appetizers. Bar area is dark and cozy, had a guy playing piano, it was nice. They do have some... More

Great steak restaurant, right next to the ballpark and down from one of my favourite hotels in Houston, The Magnolia. Anyway back to the restaurant, its fallen out of 1940's NewYork/little italy . Think white table clothes, italian looking waitors, dark wood... high end steak restaurant. Cocktail bar with pianist whilst you wait. The food is delicious, the portions are... More

Got a table with no reservation at this very busy Houston steakhouse. Knowing that I would only manage a main course, I reluctantly disregarded my favorite oyster starter and ordered the bone-in 22 ounce ribeye with the incredibly delicious bone marrow bordelaise topping and a baked potato with all the dressings. The sommelier recommended a fabulous Californian blend from Dalla... More

Really, no shorts allowed, so hardly practical for pre-game dinner in Houston summer. Micro skirts OK though, but I guess that's different. Food good but isn't that what you expect?
