Great Steak

Had a business dinner at Vic and Anthony's with a large group. The service was excellent, the wait-staff were courteous and helpful. I had the filet mignon as an entree, and it was very good. Owned by the folks that started the Landry's chain of restaurants, this place demonstrates they have learned a thing or two about feeding people. We had a special occasion, private dining room thing going on and everything was perfection! Menu - amazing. Service - 4 Stars.

My favorite steak house in Houston; I have never been disappointed. The service is impeccable, the food delicious and the atmosphere just right (not too noisy but still fun).

Came here for a work dinner and I guess I should caveat my review by saying I didn't choose this place and would not have had I had the option. Nor would most of our party - the service was amazing but the food was just way too overdone, too heavy, even the vegetables were swimming in cream and butter.... More

My wife and I went out with another couple and they insisted on Vic & Anthony's. The entire experience was one to remember. We were staying at the Westin down town so we only had to cross the St to get to the restaurant. We had reservations and were sat immediately. We had a round of cocktails and ordered a... More

We were visiting Houston to celebrate two weddings and took the bride and groom to Vic & Anthony's for a memorable dinner. While they feature wonderful looking steaks, there are a number of other tempting entrees on the menu to accommodate a variety of eating preferences. I had the heirloom tomato Panzanella and the Szechuan pepper crusted tuna with picked... More

I was so pleased with my experience at Vic & Anthony's. I arrived around 4:30 on a Friday evening, and the restaurant and bar were both filling up fast. I can see why because the food and atmosphere are both outstanding. Also, I realized that they have burgers on Fridays, and that is what a lot of the people were... More

Walking into the restaurant was the feeling of attention to detail. We were greeted, seated, and napkins placed in our laps. Our waitress was knowledgeable as she answered all questions with a cheerful attitude. We were at Vic & Anthony's for the Houston Restaurant Week. A special charity event where part of the meal money goes to the Houston Food... More

Within walking distance from the downtown courtyard I stay at. This is a formal dress place but if you go and eat in the bar you can be in shorts and a soccer jersey like I usually am. Just no hats. By myself I have been able to find a spot even when packed to sit. Right across the street... More

I live in Houston and this is the choice for a special occasion. Expensive, but it is worth it. Beautiful decor, great service, great food. Best crab cakes ever. Steaks are good. Asparagus are wonderful. Try it on your next visit.
