Fantastic Place!

This is a wonderful place for a special ice cream treat! While you may be tempted to get the bigger portion, the ice cream is decadent and rich...a little goes a long way. The double shot espresso is the BEST!!!

Love their strawberry ice cream, one place you could go to indulge your taste buds. You can't have enough of it. Clearly amongst the top ice cream parlors in town

Loved this place...they make chocolate figures of just about any kind and they are solid, not hollow. It is a treat just to walk around the store and see all the things that can be done with chocolate. They also have ice cream and several sinful types of cakes. I did not try them because I really don't need it... More

Where do I start. This place is filled with the best chocolate treats. The cakes are absolutely amazing and I tried the oreo cheesecake, which was out of this world. HIGHLY recommend this place if you love chocolate or anything sweet.

I found this place on the PBS show Daytripper. It will not disappoint. I scouted it first to see if this should be an outting for Thanksgiving guests and I was excited to make it my new best friend! Have a slice of Uncle Daryl's chocolate cake...it took 5 adults to finish it. Try the yummy chocolate covered fresh oranges... More

Recently I took friends and we went to The Chocolate Bar for dessert after having dinner. This place is simply outstanding with a great selection of chocolates, cakes, pies, ice cream and coffee drinks. Everyone enjoyed this place very much. If you are visiting Houston you should definately check this place out. They have nice gifts to take home as... More

You know how Disneyland is called "The Happiest Place on Earth"? Well, I call the Chocolate Bar the happiest place in Houston. Either location. Almost always good service (though I have at times been standing in front of the ice cream counter like an idiot waiting for service...on a few occasions). Pace yourself. I usually get ice cream, but there... More
