I love that place. Great area & surrounding too. We arrived early and bartender had a great selection while we waited to be seated.

I love this place for the atmosphere and for the location. Discovery green is right next door and it's a perfect spot to grab a drink before heading to the Toyota Center. They have a perfect hot chocolate that comes with or without alcohol for those of us with kids.

We can walk here so it's a fave for its vibe and good service. Can walk after to a soccer/ baseball/ NBA game. My beef:The protein reflects high center of the plate prices. Some restaurants reduce size of its steaks. This one renames fajita meat, the cheapest cut and dresses it up. It's still fajita. Flank. The prices are raised... More

We had eaten at The Grove several years ago but for some reason hadn't returned until the art installation of lights drew us back (leaves discovery green in February 2015)-- the interior of the restaurant is quite stunning and the view is great. I guess the food would be classified as "American"-- pork chops, quail, pork belly, mac & cheese,... More

Pre-concert dining was perfect here at The Grove located in Discovery Green in downtown Houston. Right across from the Toyota Center we were able to valet park for dinner and pick up our car after the performance. Service was timely yet unobtrusive. My sister and I were in town for two days to see this show and dine and chat... More

Took time out for lunch from the nearby conference centre, and so glad that I did. The place had a great buzzing atmosphere of people enjoying themselves. It overlooks the park area, and has outside seating, if the temperature is right. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food was tasty and of good proportions. Would definitely eat here again,... More

First time at this restaurant and found it to be average in food quality, yet relatively expensive. Had the beef rib tacos. Served with a vegetable mixture of carrots and purple onion. Very heavy on the carrots, whereas I wondered where the beef was. Business companions had burgers and said they were okay. Quality versus price, I'll probably try another... More

The Grove is located in Discovery Green in downtown Houston. It is a beautiful restaurant with views of the park. In addition to a restaurant, it is also a popular venue for wedding dinners and receptions. I've eaten at The Grove numerous times and have never been disappointed in the food or service. The food is always fresh, tasty and... More

We went for lunch with colleagues, it was pretty empty and we used the terrace. The food was good, plenty of choices from petit dishes to desserts. Though I don't enjoy fast food I had french fries with my sandwich and I ate them all, they were spicy, someone said too much, but I loved them! Definitely try to go... More

Three friends and I visited this restaurant on our last night in Houston after visiting the International Quilt Festival. The food was really good and the restaurant was very busy. The only downfall was the noise. It was extremely noisy. We thought that we would be able to talk and reflect on our great holiday but no it was too... More
