This is a semi-fine dining establishment on the side of Discovery Green right in Downtown. The location is excellent and the place is spacious. Service is OK but not really great. Food is not really anything spectacular. Nothing wrong with the food per se, it just lacks any 'spark'. That all said it is a nice place for a Sunday... More

The Grove was okay. I am not overly fond of restaurants that charge you for bread when you are having a meal. Our large group had the deviled eggs and bread as appetizers. Some had the catch of the day on parchment paper and the pork chop. The BBQ sea scallops were very small and should be an appetizer and... More

A very nice location in Houston downtown and a very good option after Toyota Center or Minute Maid Park events! Very close to the convention center, so useful also for business travellers. Quality: medium. Prices: too high. Steaks are not al the level you would expect in a price equivalent classy steak house in Houston.

Very Handy for additional service to the Hilton of Americas. Great place to meet for drinks and appetizers. I would recommend reservations for large groups.

Went for an association awards dinner. It was steak and fish. Everything was good except the fish. It was very fishy tasting and not in a good way. Also they needed more staff to serve. Some people were on dessert before others had their dinner. Also it was really too hot to have the reception before the dinner outside when... More

Located close to the Toyota Center, it is a nice place for drinks and a good meal. The service was average, food good but considering the prices, many better restaurants in the area.

Dined at The Grove on June 27, 2015 for lunch. I did not make a prior reservation, but I would certainly recommend making one as the restaurant gets extremely busy. We visited here at the recommendation of our Four Seasons Concierge, this was one of the restaurants that I had researched before our trip but really didn't consider until recommended.... More

This beautiful eatery is worth going to just for the great space they've created right next to some inner city parkland in downtown Houston. Luckily, the food is damned good too, so head to the Grove for a good all round experience.
