Such fun drink choices and contemporary southern dishes!

Really enjoyed dinner in this contemporary setting with such an innovative menu. Too much fun picking the drinks with unique combinations and surprising flavored. Loved the Mango Cosmo Fizz and the Vanilla Pineapple vodka. Colleague loved the 10 Downing Street and fruit filled Sangria. Entrees... read more

My wife and I attended the Houston Opera this weekend and the performances were fabulous as always. After the Sunday matinee, we headed to The Grove for dinner. The restaurant is located near the Brown Convention Center and the Hilton Hotel and the Embassy Suites Hotel in that area. There's a good deal of construction so the place is not... More

Entrees were equally innovative. The beef short ribs were flavorful (albeit somewhat fatty). Colleague's Seared Tuna... More

In town for a conference and this restaurant had good reviews so we stopped in. We sat in the bar and were quite disappointed. We sat for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment. A group of young and pretty girls sat next to us and were waited on within 2 minutes. Hmmm...do you understand that older professional women tip better!?! The... More

The food was pretty good. The meat was tender and the black bean side was really good, too. The portions were kind of small, and the price was a little high. It had a nice atmosphere. It is a nice place for couples, but it was not family friendly.

Beautiful dining room with windows all around for view of Discovery Green. Beet salad was very good. Snapper with crab boiled potatoes was delicious. Daughter enjoyed her shrimp dish. Desserts were very unique. Good wine selection, and service was exceptionally good.

I just love the whole farm to table concept! Conveniently located right across from our hotel - Hilton of the Americas and visiting from Orlando for a conference - we were not disappointed! The three of us enjoyed the brisket benedict, hash and the French toast 'brioche' with berries! Remarkable and the team service was delightful! Highly recommend! Kudos to... More

Stopped here on the first night of a road trip in the US as was staying next door in the Hilton. Didn't want to eat in the hotel, so had a quick look at what was local. Food was really good, not the cheapest for what it was, but local and quite stylish. Service was excellent (Jeffrey), and he really... More

Very good seafood but quite noisy when crowded. Being so close to the Hilton and Brown Conference Center is a plus, but that's why it can be so crowded. Recommend getting a reservation.

So when we checked into the Hilton next door I looked out the window, saw the rooftop garden and told my travel partner "we are going there!" We were not disappointed! We started off with some drinks and decided to snack on some appetizers. They have deviled eggs with smoked salmon, pickled corn, chilis and dill (that they grew on... More
