Nice restaurant with good atmosphere. The cocktails were very well made. Will visit again next time I am in Houston.

The Grove is located downtown Houston, in the middle of a park. Houston has tons of restaurants with excellent food and excellent service but a few can boast of an excellent view. When I remember The Grove I think of a great relaxing meal and windows. It is surrounded by a park and every table has a view. Everything on... More

Opposite the Hilton of the Americas, a respite of a dining location with good food and wine. Held a team dinner here and received great service. On street evening parking and valet parking available. Nicer area of downtown Houston too.

Came for dinner when staying at the Hilton across the road on a business trip. Walked in without a reservation at 8pm on a Sunday and there were plenty of tables. Loved the glass walls looking out on greenspace, not what I expected in the middle of downtown Houston. Sleek, slick décor. We ordered guacamole ($14) and catch of the... More

Downtown Houston is home to many different restaurants and one that is worth your time is The Grove. Located right next to Discovery Green Park, The Grove offers a nice atmosphere and tasty food, all with a great view of the adjacent park. The Grove is a large size restaurant with two levels. The top level includes a large open-... More

I had their award winning soup and the beet salad at lunch and thought both were outstanding epicurean adventures. I felt like I was in California near Santa Monica or at a modern version of Tavern on the Green in New York's Central Park. I'm not sure why, but this wasn't what I expected to find in Houston. Atmosphere 5... More

There is virtually no parking unless you happen to find an open spot on the street. If not the restaurant only has valet parking. The atmosphere was nice, decor upscale and trendy. The food and drinks were pricey but my SPICY GULF SHRIMP & SWEET CORN ESQUITES and the TREEHOUSE SANGRIA was superb!

I made a reservation for dinner several weeks before coming to Houston for a convention. The evening we went, the restaurant was filled to capacity but service was very good. Our party enjoyed several different items and all were very good.

We tried this place for Lunch before we took a group for Dinner. The Menu was small and didn't offer a big selection. I had an expensive ($14.00) bowl of soup for lunch, but it was nice. The dinner menu was the same as what was offered for lunch, BUT at a HUGH increase in price. Service was friendly.
