Food was good -- dined here twice during a 6 night stay at the Hilton. Lots of good pasta dishes and nonpasta entrees as well. Varied selection of pizzas. Love their salads.

A little higher in price but worth it for the inventive flavor mixes and relaxing atmosphere. Great place to relax with friends

Since we were in Houston in July, it was very hot. To help cool off, we went to have drinks at The Grove across from Hilton Americas. The sangria was amazing! They add tequila...who knew it would be so delicious! Then it turns out their food is also good. They embrace the farm to table concept and consequently their food... More

This is a great place for Sunday brunch, the architecture is floor to ceiling windows with wicker chairs, the exterior landscaping is fantastic. The menu was varied and pretty much anything for breakfast or brunch. The only drawback was the valet parking

We enjoyed the restaurant setting but overall thought too expensive for the portion sizes - had the shrimp and grits for $24.50. Serving size was small like a coffee cup plate. Charge extra for sour dough bread and butter for $5. Should come with dinner for free. We enjoyed the fresh ingredients that are grown on the roof top -... More

I have a confession to make, I am a serial whinge and can find fault in most things readily! But the Grove has raised my expectations bar still further. World be warned! This was the best meal I have had out for a very very long time. Starting with the greeting from the girl at seat allocation, with her nice... More

Went to The Grove for lunch. Ordered a salad with grilled chicken breast. It was very flavorful. Our child had the chicken tenders and fries and it came out ver nice. Not oily or burnt. Our cousin had the grilled salmon with kale salad. The food and service was ver good. Would definitely eat here again.

Food-wise it is nothing special. I would not rate much for its gastonomic qualities, and definitely the dishes are not very sophisticated. Prices are little high too. And yet the food was tasty enough, the service quite good and the location ideal, right next to Discovery Green park in downtown Houston. You can eat outside in the terrace.

We wanted a nice but reasonably fast lunch during a break in an annual conference at downtown's GRB convention Center, and The Grove is right across from the Hilton. We knew it would be a bit pricey, but with cars lined up for $8 valet parking it was clear many locals considered it worth it. The place is very nice--very... More
