Waitress sweat in everyone's food

Resturant was busy and seemed to be understaffed although it was noon on Sunday so an after church crowd should have been typical. The waitress literally was running from table to table and to kitchen. She was covered in sweat and it was dripping in plates. I hate to complain but it was so gross... read more

For a place such a long way away from Cajun Country, and the coast, their crawfish gumbo, soft shell crab, and scallops were absolutely terrific! Good service as well.

All of the sides are out of a can, nothing made fresh except the seafood which is bland and overcooked. The restaurant is not very clean. The condiment containers always seem dirty from other people using them with greasy hands, that turns me off. We quit going.

This was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Right off the bat service was terrible and the menu was too long. The food should never have served it was horrible and the gumbo was green. It would be best never to attend this restaurant.

Really good food but the service is as bad as any place I have visited. They appear to have inadequate help to get things done

My party of 3 had the fried catfish/fries, catfish/shrimp, and grilled shrimp. The food was very good, moist, and the grilled shrimp, in-particularly, was a big hit. Had 2 side salads and one slaw and generally they were good but nothing exceptional. Service has been a real turnoff from several previous visits. However, this trip - our first in almost... More

I have lived in GBC now for a year. The other day I decided to take my wife there for dinner. Even though she had warned me. Well I will listen next time. I had the redfish it was not fresh it was frozen. It was over cooked and to beat all it tasted like dirt....like if you cooked a... More

Calamari was excellent. Grilled snapper shrimp scallops and vegetables all excellent. And the service was great. No complaints here. First time trying the grilled items. Fried foods have always been good.

This is my second time here and this time I brought my Wife. As I did, she enjoyed lunch today. We both got the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail and the Seafood Gumbo. Both dishes are great! Especially the Gumbo. I think they are well known for their Gumbo.
