The food is good. The atmosphere pleasant but its pricey. The music is to loud so go early. The staff is terrific. We go at least once a year and even though its about 2 minutes from my house the cost keeps us away.

I don't live in the area anymore, but when I come to town, I always make time to come here. The music and food remind me of family gatherings of food and good music of my own Cajun family. The food is delicious; my favorites are the crawfish dishes. The gumbo is yummy here as well. It's a great place... More

I was told by many locals that I HAD to try this place...boy was it a let down! We went on a Thursday evening (it's the first day they are open past 2pm) and wanted to sit and watch the people dancing. While there were 6 or so open tables we were told we could not sit over there because... More

The place can seat a lot of people, our wait was only 5 min. I ordered the stuffed fish and so did my husband. The flavors were very good, the portion was huge (couldn't eat it all), the people and staff are friendly, BUT......the fish was very dry and overcooked.... I will go back and try something different. I love... More

I was taken there by a Texas friend because I wanted to experience Cajun food. It was lunch time during a mid week work day and there were lots of local workers there downing there lunches with lots of every day happiness on their faces. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I don't have enough... More

Us poor Houstonians have to drive all the way to Groves Texas (2 hours) to get Cajun cooking and Cajun dancing in one place. But its worth the drive. Larry is the real deal serving up great cooking and sweet family style Cajun dancing EVERY weekend. It is truly a treasure which unfortunately seems to be harder to find these... More

Good food, fun atmosphere. The buffet has nearly every type of Cajun food you can think of. I would recommend it to get a sampling of everything from boudain to creole to gumbo to boiled shrimp to frog legs an alligator. However come hungry as it is very difficult to get your $30 worth of food. You can also order... More

Great food. The buffet was a little pricey it looked wonderful. Unfortunately I had a large lunch the day we visited Larry's so passed on it. The menu was extensive which made it difficult to decide what to order. The crawfish and shrimp were perfect and delicious. The evening my wife and I visited there was live entertainment which just... More

This is my extended family's favorite restaurant to go to when they come to visit. The lunch is great! Love the gumbo, the etouffee, the fish, shrimp... delicious! The evening meal is equally as great. Fun atmosphere, too. Not the best view driving there, but worth it!
