yes it's good

We were wandering around Grapevine/Main Street- one of our favorite things to do- and decided to try Tolbert's. Good choice! My hot dog was large, and covered in Texas Red Chili, served with fries or coleslaw. She had the nachos...BTW there are different renditions of nachos on the menu. If you... read more

Known for their chilli- didn't disappoint. There is even a vegetarian chilli option. Great atmosphere (west meets sports bar) and they have live music.

This is definitely the place to go to get a bowl of the original Texas chile. The chili is cooked fresh and the bowl contains onions and cheese along with the chili. There are thee size bowls from the small to the very large . Service is good and the food is very good. If in downtown Grapevine make this... More

I really enjoyed the casual atmosphere , attentive staff & awesome chili. The martinis were perfect, shaken not stirred for you 007 fans. A friend had recommended the zucchini appetizer so we tried them but they didn't impress. Maybe they were out & substituted frozen ones, not sure. The chili is definitely the star here!

This restaurant is known for it's Chili. It has been involved with the Terlingua Chili cook off for many years. The food is pretty good overall, and the selection is good. The fries taste like fries and the hush-puppies leave a little to be desired in the taste category. Our party had catfish, burritos and a burger. All were pretty... More

We went in for lunch after visiting one of the wine tasting rooms in Grapevine. It was early afternoon and the place was still pretty busy. We were quickly seated and our waiter was quick to greet us. I ordered their basic burger, which turned out to be a... Basic burger... Nothing to write home about. It came with fries,... More

We saw this place had decent reviews so we have it a shot. My husband and I both ate the Frito pie since they are famous for their chili. I thought it was a bit on the greasy side. The flavor was sufficient, could have used more salt. I give the chili 6/10. Service was standard as was the food.... More

Wanted a quick taste of chili before heading out after visit to Grapevine. It was good and warmed the tummy. The chips and queso and salsas were very tasty. Great service and loved the atmosphere. Would certainly visit again.

Wife and I had lunch here and the service and food were above average. This is located in a historic old building on Main Street in Grapevine. The décor is authentic and nicely decorated. Most evenings they have live music. The food was good, wife had a salad and I had the fried catfish sandwich. Both items were good. The... More
