This restaurant came highly recommended. We don't get it. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other, two attempts to bring us a lemonade that tasted like lemonade failed, and worst of all, the food was mediocre, at best, and overpriced! Ugh.

The verde chicken enchiladas were very good, but I miss the verde sauce before they changed the recipe a couple months ago. The manager said the sauce is now vegetarian and better. I disagree and am disappointed. Uncle Julio's no longer has my fav green sauce in Texas. Although the food at UJ is still delicious, Chuy's now has the... More

Went here with my brother, who was inspired by their filet Mignon fajitas. They offer a few different types of sauces and salsa, I recommend trying the habanero salsa if you like a good kick. I tried their bacon wrapped, cheese stuffed, mango habanero glazed shrimp and they were out of this world good.

The bottom line is that the food was very good, but for Mexican/Tex-Mex food, the prices were very high. We were there for lunch, but just glancing at the dinner menu, they had several entrees that topped $20. Lunch was a fairly reasonable, but it would be tough to talk me into paying the prices again.

Going back to Uncle Julio's is always a treat. Not living in Texas any longer, we always plan a trip for tex mex. The fajita's are outstanding, always hot and cooked just right. Thanks for an enjoyable meal. Great service as well.

We were on our way to the airport after a business trip to Dallas and had dinner at this restaurant. We were immediately seated and received excellent service. I ordered the fajitas and my husband had fish tacos. Both dishes were very good and generous proportions. The chips that they serve are light and crispy. When we were leaving around... More

We have been regular customers of the Grapevine Julios for a couple of years now and we believe that they have ironed out a few of the kinks that we noticed in our last review. We always hit Julio's for fajitas and swirls upon returning from an air trip out of town.. as soon as we land and can make... More

Tables crammed into a loud atmosphere where you can barely hold a conversation over the music. Menu was creative with interesting selections, however lacked any real dishes except Fajitas and Enchiladas. Overall, a decent experience. Nice smoked chipotle salsa and chips to start off with well seasoned dishes to follow. May or may not go back, and in the end... More

I visited there on a Saturday evening. The tortillas were very good. The noise was very loud, so much so, that I had to text my wife across the table to communicate. Even though the food was good, it wasn't worth the price tag -

Had the fajitas special with beef and chicken and it was delicious! Big portions, plenty of vegetables and tasty meat. The only thing that could use some more spice (and is why I don't give 5 starts) was the fresh guacamole entrée.
