Great Mexican restaurant

We ate at Uncle Julio's based on a recommendation and it was well worth a visit. The place is very authentic, serves great Mexican food and fantastic Margaritas. The staff is very friendly and as it seemed busy I reckon you'd be better off making a reservation, just in case. They offer to make... read more

Whenever we fly out of DFW, we always eat dinner the night before at Uncle Julio's. I particularly enjoy the Sangria Swirl margaritas. For dinner, we enjoyed queso, bacon wrapped shrimp, and sopaipillas. Our waitress, a recent transplant from Chicago was efficient and friendly! See ya next year Uncle Julio's!

We just flew back to Texas from vacation and wanted some Tex Mex before heading home. We all enjoyed our meal - I had quesidillas, hubby had enchiladas and our son had tacos. Service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend.

We always look forward to great food here, no matter what we order. The fajitas are one of our favorite! The margaritas are strong and tasty. It's always a great time here!

We eat regularly in the Uncle Julio's Atlanta, GA and this one did not disappoint. Still the same great chips and tableside guacamole. The fajitas (steak) are as always to die for just love them. Was only disappointed by the mango margarita not really feeling chunks of mango in my drink too slimy but tasted pretty good nevertheless.

While the food was good, the overall experience was very disappointing. We ordered margaritas and an appetizer. After we finished our appetizer we asked about our drinks. Finally, our margaritas were brought to us and were already half melted. It appeared that they had been sitting at the bar for quite some time. We waited 45 minutes for our meal.... More

We stopped here for a quick Tex-Mex meal. The service was great and the food came so quickly. I was actually shocked that it came that fast. The food was good. I would not say it was the best I've esten, but I would go again.

I can not say enough good things about the Uncle Julio's beef and chicken combination fajitas. My husband and I could eat them everyday. They are moist, tender and very flavorable! We like to order a side of "Mexican butter." Don't try to split an order of fajitas because one order comes with 3 slices of beef and 3 slices... More

We went here on a Sunday afternoon and were expecting some good Mexican food. The salsa was very bland and not the best so make sure and order the queso. All of the menu is very pricey for Mexican food so be looking to spend between $12 and $20 for a plate. Not the best enchiladas and the nachos were... More

I went to Uncle Julio's with great expectation with a group. My colleagues had advised it to be one of the best around. We waited for a while at the bar and had Margaritas which were pretty good. We then went to have dinner. The food was very average and I have had much better Mexican food elsewhere. Additionally the... More
