Ok Mexican food, kinda pricey

We went here on a Sunday afternoon and were expecting some good Mexican food. The salsa was very bland and not the best so make sure and order the queso. All of the menu is very pricey for Mexican food so be looking to spend between $12 and $20 for a plate. Not the best enchiladas and the nachos... read more

I can not say enough good things about the Uncle Julio's beef and chicken combination fajitas. My husband and I could eat them everyday. They are moist, tender and very flavorable! We like to order a side of "Mexican butter." Don't try to split an order of fajitas because one order comes with 3 slices of beef and 3 slices... More

I went to Uncle Julio's with great expectation with a group. My colleagues had advised it to be one of the best around. We waited for a while at the bar and had Margaritas which were pretty good. We then went to have dinner. The food was very average and I have had much better Mexican food elsewhere. Additionally the... More

So I heard from a few people that I should try Uncle Julio's and we happen to be passing by and decided to stop. We waited 45 min for a table so we were like "it's gotta be soooo good because there are so many people here." We started off with some ceviche that was basically a pile of purple... More

came here on a quiet Monday, sat at the bar as the restaurant was reasonably busy. Waited almost 10 mins to be seen, chips were bought, then the bar tender came and asked us what we wanted to drink, but we had no drink menus so ordered a beer and house margarita. Another 10 minutes later drinks came, no water... More

Sat in the bar with my wife. Only one person apparently working the bar area. Plenty of people running around in black uniforms but only one actually working in bar. Waited forever to get a drink order in. Drinks finally arrived, asked for menus. Could see lone bar staff go over to one of two managers who were doing nothing,... More

I have always wanted to eat at Uncle Juio's. So we waited for 15 minutes to be seated. The menu has limited choices. The prices were also high. The meal was nothing fancy. In fact, we were disappointed. The food was rather bland and offered nothing special for the price we paid.

Let me start off by saying we really enjoyed the food here. The fajitas were delicious, and the in-house tortillas were also very good. My wife loved her street tacos. That all said, this was one of the weirdest experiences we have had in a place. I asked for the fajitas w/ no onions. The server stated they might not... More

First time visit with old friends and met expectations. Service was friendly if a little pushy to order dinner when we were catching up on conversation. The fajitas were very tasty and overall good value. Bottom line would go again. What more can you say?
