After a hardy recommendation - was looking forward to wonderful experience. Staff was pleasant. Margaritas missed the mark! Definitely tasted like a mix; the worst I had tasted in Texas. They even missed the mark with their glasses-they looked like water glasses. You know the drinks were poor if seconds weren't ordered even at Happy Hour prices! Ordered Queso dip... More

We visited Esparza's about three years ago and had a wonderful meal and experience. This time last weekend, the food was just ok and we had to ask to be moved because the first place we were sat was so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. Several people recommended this place to us and I guess it's just one... More

If you like cafeteria food you'll love this place. Watery beans, tasteless rice and the enchiladas were covered in tasteless chili sauce with a spattering of cheese all slopped on a plate. Where's the love? It lacked depth, freshness and flavor. Cum' on man!!!

I was in the Dallas area for a convention with fellow co-workers and we stumbled upon Grapevine, Texas and Esparzas. Everything was amazing. Great drinks, great service and fun atmosphere. We sat outside, everything about it was great!

This is a great place just off of Main Street in historic grapevine tx. The food is pretty average Tex-Mex but the margaritas are powerful. Great patio out front for people watching too

Esparza's was easy to get to in downtown Grapevine. We sat outside in the front of the restaurant. I don't get a chance to eat Mexican food often and did not know the difference between certain foods. The waiter explained the ingredients and then offered suggestions. His suggestions were right on target. The meal was very good and the atmosphere... More

The reviews are mixed on this place but it was great. Sit out on the patio and enjoy the environment. Order a margarita or two, they are great. The food is good. Don't go expecting gourmet. Service was good even though they were very busy.

While spending time in the quaint little town of Grapevine, just outside the hustle and bustle of Dallas, we were graciously doted upon by everyone in any type of customer service scenario we came upon, but the service at Esparza's lingers in our minds. "Bending over backwards" service. Enough said. When is last time you have been able to say... More

Very nice mexican fare, excellent friendly service, nice portions... what's no to like? We started with guacamole (quite nice), salsa (which she loved), and queso (unique and tasty). She had the puff chicken taco. Yes a taco puff! Nicely prepared and not greasy at all. I had a combo plate and found it all to be tasty.

We were a party of three and chose to eat outside on a Thursday night. No wait for the table. The menu has a large selection of appetizers, entres and drinks. Frozen Margarhitas were tasty but more like "on the rocks" than frozen. Service was attentive, chips and salsa served complimentary, portions were large and everyone enjoyed their dinner.Would dine... More
