Read the reviews for this place, and decided to go based on all the positive comments. It wasn't bad, but we were not overly impressed. Our waiter barely spoke English, so it was difficult to communicate our order. The food was mediocre at best, and portions were small. It certainly was popular though! Big crowd for a Thursday evening.

This was a nice change-of-pace from the formal dinners I attended during a week-long conference at the nearby Gaylord Texan resort. The food was exactly what I was looking for, nothing fancy. The margaritas were the perfect blend of tangy and refreshing, while the food was deliciously spicy. The guacamole was also a standout for me.

Visiting TX, I visited Esparza after reading Trip Advisor reviews and talking w/ the hotel staff. The food was good and reasonably priced, and we really enjoyed dining on the patio. The service unfortunately was pretty slow; we had to ask for chips, silverware and the bill - hopefully it was just an off/busy night.

It isn't as good as it once was.... but still good service and decent food. I think the family sold it some years back and the portions reflected the change.

I usually don't like Mexican food but this restaurant has changed my mind. A huge menu and the best margarita's the server explained the different choices. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I will definitely return.I lied the decor it was very relaxing.It was to cold to sit outside but they did have outside seating.
