Pappadeux’s has a nice fried catfish for lunch for only $10.95. It is served with shrimp etouffee on top of a pistolette (fried Danish) and a side of dirty rice. The fried shrimp platter had 8 large shrimp and was served on a platter of French fries. We were so happy to find fresh gulf oysters on special for only... More

Pappadeaux is one of our favorite restaurants. We have dined here several times. Food is excellent and Services is supper even when the it is crowded. You can always depend on fine seafood (they also serve Steaks) and services at Pappadeaux . We have dined in their other locations also. Every one of them is excellent in food and service.

My first thought was to turn around when we walked due to the large amount of people, but we decided to stay. Our server was very attentive even while we waited for the last of our dinner party to arrive. The food was delicious, but it always makes it better when your server actually does his/her job and ours did... More

Blackened Catfish .with shrimp etouffee pistolette & dirty rice & Cajun Combo plus Shrimp & Crawfish Fondeaux with garlic bread was OUTSTANDING!!!! Our server Christopher was great and talk about the options on menu. He gave excellent tips on what might work for us based on our information to him. I have been to this location a few times now, and I have to say, every time, no matter how crowded it is, and it always is, the customer service and food are awesome. I always get the seafood platter, since I can't eat it for a few days, and it is great. The food is cooked perfectly, the bar... More

I ordered shrimp and fries and both were good, but the few shrimp I got were sitting on a bed of potatoes that would feed at least four people. Don't get me wrong, the fries were good, but not even a lumberjack could eat that many fries at one sitting. For the few shrimp I received, it was way overpriced.... More

The atmosphere is perfect! It doesn't matter if you are wearing a tuxedo or jeans. You will feel comfortable and you will be treated like family by the staff. Now, for the food, SENSATIONAL! Last night I had Red fish with dirty rice and the portions were huge! I'm a foodie with a monster appetite and also a bit greedy... More

My husband and I were celebrating my birthday when we decided to visit Pappadeaux. After looking over the menu, we decided on the Shrimp and Crawfish Fondeaux with Garlic Bread - appetizer and Crawfish Etoufee - cajun specialty. Wow! Absolutely delicious! They really complimented each other and if you share, it is the perfect portion. My husband had Texas Rose... More

I don't have anything back to say about this place. It's solid, just not an overwhelming delight. The platter is fried. Good, but too fried and the Opelousas is rich with butter. I recommend at least trying this place once.

I had a great first time at this restaurant. I sat at the bar and the server was outstanding! He explained the entire menu to me, gave me suggestions and offered his opinion (everything I value in a server)! I tried the Mardi Gras bowl and was not disappointed. Great suggestion from the server and I loved it. Couldn't finish... More
