The atmosphere is perfect! It doesn't matter if you are wearing a tuxedo or jeans. You will feel comfortable and you will be treated like family by the staff. Now, for the food, SENSATIONAL! Last night I had Red fish with dirty rice and the portions were huge! I'm a foodie with a monster appetite and also a bit greedy... More

My husband and I were celebrating my birthday when we decided to visit Pappadeaux. After looking over the menu, we decided on the Shrimp and Crawfish Fondeaux with Garlic Bread - appetizer and Crawfish Etoufee - cajun specialty. Wow! Absolutely delicious! They really complimented each other and if you share, it is the perfect portion. My husband had Texas Rose... More

I don't have anything back to say about this place. It's solid, just not an overwhelming delight. The platter is fried. Good, but too fried and the Opelousas is rich with butter. I recommend at least trying this place once.

I had a great first time at this restaurant. I sat at the bar and the server was outstanding! He explained the entire menu to me, gave me suggestions and offered his opinion (everything I value in a server)! I tried the Mardi Gras bowl and was not disappointed. Great suggestion from the server and I loved it. Couldn't finish... More

The service was top notch. The gumbo and calamari were good as always. Can't recommend the Lemon Butter Mahi...way too much lemon in the sauce. Scallops and shrimp dish was tasty , but $32 for the serving was a bit much.

I am more of a steak person than seafood except for here. Pappadeaux has it down! Everything we had was delicious and full of flavor, service was attentive (the "right" amount) and the price to value equation is spot on. Pappa's does a nice job with all of their formats, this one included.

I had the Pasta Mardi Gras and it was delicious! Just enough spice and heat to be enjoyable, but not so much to be painful. Because bugs are not my thing, they held back the crawfish. However the andouille and shrimp were wonderfully prepared. BTW- it came with hot bread. She had her favorite , soft shelled crabs. We also... More

Had heard good things about Pappdeaux and was close to where we were staying, so decided to try it. We heard it was expensive, but well worth the price based on reviews. The atmosphere is delightful! You just feel you have walked into a special restaurant! It was somewhat early on a Friday evening, it was busy, but we were... More

We ended up eating at this Restaurant every evening of our 4 night stay! Different selections each meal and not disappointed once. A little expensive, but the portions are large, so we shared. The staff is friendly and efficient. The oyster on the half shell has the best dipping sauce ever!

One of the very best lunch experiences I have ever had I had Blackened Mississippi Catfish Opelousas which our server swore was wonderful because his Dad said so. Oh my goodness, his Dad has a fine palate! What an a-w-e-s-o-m-e meal. Huge portion but I finished it all and almost licked my plate clean ;o) it was that good. My... More
