Great breakfast

Great breakfast/brunch--mostly comfort food. Friendly service. Usually a line on weekends, but they move through it efficiently.

We went on a Sunday morning and waited 45 minutes for a table. I really expected the food to be fabulous and it was just average. The prices were reasonable, but the food was not any better than Cracker Barrel. We would not return.

I have visited the Oldwest Cafe each time I get to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It is an experience to get to the table, but completely worth it. After they get your name on the list, they text you when it's your turn. My very favorite are the lemon blueberry pancake with bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. I've tried the banana... More

This place was fantastic!!! We went Sunday morning. There was 30-45 minute wait, we were told when we put our name at the front. They have a great system of texting you when your turn is up. We were texted in approximately 10-15 minutes. It was amazing!! The place is loud and busy, but, it isfun and great! The food... More

I love visiting Old West, probably my favorite is breakfast because they have such a great, varied menu from pancakes, french toast, eggs, omelets, really anything you could want. We also go for lunch; love their salads and sandwiches. Their menu is huge, really anything you could want. We always see large families there. Wait staff is always helpful. Really... More

The first thing I noticed was how noisy this place was they were very busy and everyone's conversations were bouncing off the walls that made it hard to hear the person you are talking to at the table. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was your standard chicken fried steak lunch nothing special.... More

Noisy! Very very noisy! It took 15 minutes to get our food, and every other table had slow food service too. May not have been a negative if they had bread baskets or something to munch on while you wait. The staff was attentive.

I am really picky when I eat out for breakfast! i think its so cheap and easy to make at home; that if I'm going to pay, it better be amazing. Oh this place was amazing! I got eggs benedict, it was amazing. My husband got some cinnamon bread french toast and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD good! It... More

Good comfort food with large portions. Great, fast service with tons of choices on the menu---hard to make a choice. Everyone was right about the need to arrive early. We were there on a weekend and there was a line waiting to be seated. Food came amazingly fast for the crowd---waitress took our order on her phone saying it went... More

If you are looking for a local place that has a huge menu and huge portions, then this is your place. We came on a Saturday morning and I knew we were at a good place because it took about twenty minutes to get in. The favorite dish ordered was the pancakes with the peanut butter infused syrup. Outstanding. If... More
