Slow and variable service. Food was okay but not outstanding. A very busy and crowded restaurant; reservations essential at night.
A very nice atmosphere but the food was just mediocre (we chose the family style for $20/person and received the WORST service that we have ever received anywhere and believe me we aren't very picky people!
Of all the restaurants at the Gaylord Texan this was my favorite. Being a vegetarian/vegan, I am very limited on my food choices. They were very accomodating and although there weren't only one or two choices for vegetarians they adapted their menus in order for me to have something to eat. Their vegetarian fajitas were great. Great service too!
Wanted a snack & beverage, but was told the bar closed at 9pm - it was 9:05pm by the time we were seated & greeted :(
Food is fabulous but expensive, deserts are very small. Service is wonderful but be careful, they added gratuity to our bill (for two people) and did not tell us.
I ate two meals; one was a breakfast buffet - standard buffet food, but omelet station was nice. The other was lunch (Mexican food). Surprisingly no vegetarian options for my dining partner. Had the same waitress both times, and she continually tapped the top of our glasses with her fingers when asking if we wanted a refill. Gross!
This place has a lot of outdoor (inside the atrium) space. the Sunday brunch was super with an omelet stand and anything you could imagine for breakfast. Service was excellent. However on another occasion when time was short, we did not have time to eat even though we told the server we were in a hurry.
average mexican food service very slow it took quite sometime to get my check not organized with reservations
I only had breakfast, but that omelet with shredded beef....omg, what a way to start your day! delish!
