Great breakfast or Lunch on the square

Very casual and no rush. My husband enjoyed lunch and a book while I shopped the Square. Great authentic BLT with Avocado! They were closing when my husband left and they distributed the pastries that were left from the breakfast/lunch crowd at no charge!

Excellent staff-good service and excellent food at a good price. Would recommend them to anyone. The French toast is huge, the cinnamon rolls are great and their sausage is the best in Granbury

Long time favorite for breakfast right on the square. Their lunches are really good too. It's great to go on a morning , have coffee and watch the world wake up.

We visited there for lunch on friday. We both had the lunch special which was Talapia, cooked on the grill with a lemon slice and onions, with the sides of potatoes and brocholi, a slice of homemade cake, and raspberry ice tea. I had lemon cake, and my wife had chocolate cherry, both were fresh made and delicious. The talapia... More

Quaint little place! WE had ice cream one night and milk shakes the second night as we had had a late lunch. Both were great. Others were ordering food that looked delicious. They also serve breakfast.

Good food and desserts. If you like salads, they make it with good lettuce and have a good amount of toppings. The dinning area is a little cramped but is in a historic building.

I was in town shopping around the square and I was trying out all of the places to eat and this was the first one. It has a very country feel to it. You go up to the register and order, you then go sit at a table and when your food is ready they will call out your number... More

It is a nice little casual dining type place. The portions were huge and the food was good. Nothing was over the top fantastic but it was an enjoyable meal overall.

I HIGHLY recommend the Nutshell Eatery & Bakery in Granbury on the square (across from the Filling Station). I went for lunch and ordered the "lunch plate" for $6.99. It came with a large portion of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and a roll. Everything was fresh and delicious. Also included in the price was a drink... More
