My wife and I were visiting the square. We were here on a Tuesday and a lot of shops were closed. We were getting hungry so we found in this place on the corner. We went in and asked if they had a bathroom and to look at the menu. They said that they didn't but the public restrooms were... More

It was served up with just chicken and cheese. ummm, Not so much..... When I went to pick it up the cook kinda' growled asked me why our meals were on the same number, and it how... More

Had the Binge Burger which was very good on the whole grain bread. This was the only good thing I have to say. Will not return

We went for breakfast and I think I had a different expectation of the restaurant. I expected white linen tablecloths and white china coffee cups but it's not like that. As another reviewer mentioned, you go to the counter to order and then to the coffee stand to get your own coffee. The breakfast was good but a fried egg... More

Not a fancy restaurant but the service is very friendly and the food was excellent. We had the Jesse James and the pancakes. Sit and eat and look out at the main square and city hall.

We had our choices of serval places to eat close to the courthouse square and seems like we picked the wrong one. There was a special sign on the sidewalk advertising meat loaf so we opted to go to this location. You have to order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. We ordered the meat... Ahh, sandwiches with homemade bread. Nothing better. And salads made to order, when you order them! Not ahead of time! So good. And fresh cookies to take back to the room. Heaven.

This was the 2nd time to enjoy lunch at Nutshell, and we were not disappointed either time! I enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich which was excellent. They use very fresh delicious breads which make their sandwiches extra special!!! We'll definitely head back there next time we're in Granbury...

For years I ate @ the Nut House. Now, I guess you can still stay in some rooms upstairs, but the wonderful dining room is gone. Very sad to see the place in it's current condition.

My husband and I had breakfast at the Nutshell Eatery and Bakery. It was very nice. Not a very large selection for breakfast but the coffee and food were very good and very reasonable
