Great food but a little pricey

Smoked meat tacos - yummy. Very out of the way place in an old time converted gas/service station. The is a destination for good tacos.

If you are looking for an uptight fancy restaurant this is not for you. However, whatever you choose to eat will surely impress you and leave you wanting to come back for more. Del Norte is located in a building that is an old converted gas station. Watch your step! Parking can sometimes be hard to come by but it's... More

Recently met here with friends. My first time. I had the brisket tacos and they were the best I've ever had! Amazing! My husband had the Smoked Chile Relleno and loved it too.

The food is worth driving for wherever you are coming from. Brisket and fajita tacos. Guacamole to die for. Great food, friendly folks and prompt service. Don't miss the traditional beans, self serve.

Finally got down to Godley to check this place out. There were four of us and everyone got something different and all declared it well worth the drive! I had the brisket taco which was packed full with enough meat for three tacos! The brisket was extremely flavorful and moist. Others had the chicken and pork tacos. All good. One... More

Let me start off by saying that Del Norte in Godley does have fantastic food, it was the reason we wanted to use their catering service for our wedding. However, the service was less than desirable and a huge disappointment. Not worth the money. Everything that went wrong: Mary (one of the owners) was perfect every time we met with... More

Great food off the beaten path. Great food and choices served in a timely manner. Great BBQ. Great tacos. Great service. (Don't miss the beans, there terrific.) Worth the drive to find this gem.

This is one of those restaurants that if you drive by and look at the outside and say "honey this looks to dirty and I think it will be terrible" you wouldn't be alone. But let me tell you get your nose out of the air and step inside for some if the best TexMex you will have ever tasted.... More

Delicious food. Mexican but with a gourmet flair. I have eaten here a number of times and consistently it has been great. Meat is slow cooked, cheeses and veggies are fresh. The restaurant needs updating--it was a cool antithesis in the beginning (gourmet food served in a dive) but now it's time to expand. Dining room is small and porch... More

Some say Tex Mex and it does lean that way but a whole lot more........not you bean and rice kind of place. Pepper stuffed with smoked brisket on a bead of black beans with cheese and rice. The portions are huge...
