This was a quick drive from Granbury and the small cabin we rented. The scenery was great driving over, and the spot is incredibly easy to find in this extremely small town. This place is better than most Tex-Mex joints in DFW and Austin combined. The brisket tacos were amazing, and my boyfriend had the chile relleno (a huge delectable... More

Stopped in for the first time and ordered a brisket bbq burrito, what i got was one heck of a colossal burrito. Best brisket with great flavor, no skimpy portions loaded with all the yummy fixins! Came with a side of beans and homemade hot sauce. Ate half for lunch then the other half for dinner. Definitely recommend this place... More

This place is just far enough outside of Dallas/Ft Worth to make it a "destination" trip. You know... one of those hole-in-the-wall places made out of an old gas station that serves up above average specialty items and you tell everyone about it when you get home. I'm partial to the Fish Tacos for lunch, but sliding by for breakfast... More

I live in this community, and we have friends from all over that make the drive from the metroplex to eat here. You will be glad you did! Everything they make is delicious. The boys in my house love the Rio Grande Burritos, I love their salad, and my daughter loves the tacos and queso and chips. The owners are... More

Wow! Who would think you could find an amazing mex restaurant on the side of the highway in Godley Texas? The food is so fresh and clean. The chef is outstanding mixing farm fresh veggies with the most delicious smoked or grilled meats. The moment we walked up to the entrance, from the ample parking, you would think you were... More

Del Norte Tacos has both an indoor and outdoor patio for eating. It is worth the drive to this location. The food, no matter what type of meat you elect, will have a very strong smoke flavor, thus if you do not like it that way, then eat chips and salsa while the other's enjoy their meal. The salsa, by... More

Awful chili rellenos. Dirty. Poor service. Staled chips (extra cost). Too expensive. Dangerous parking lot (uneven pavement).

My daughter got married last Friday. The caterer we had lined up doubled their quote at the last minute (that's a whole other review!). Someone suggested Del Norte. What a blessing!! Mary is the nicest, most accommodating person to work with. And the food is out of this world! I recommend Del Norte for all of your catering needs. They... More

I have driven by Del Norte Tacos many many times during various trips between Cresson and Cleburne, Texas. Between those two towns lies a quiet little place, Godley. The last place you would expect to find a Taco stand. Yet, there it was-sure I may have caught the smell of something good smoking in the giant smokers, but it was... More

Off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip. This is not your standard Mexican food or taco shop. Its housed in an old gas station and you dine in the service bay. The smoked brisket and pork is just fantastic. All the items we had were extremely fresh and prepared to perfection. They have self serve chips salsa and... More
