Take your time and enjoy!

The sign on the door sets the expectation and Loco Coyote is true to their word - "Come on in and kick back, relax, have fun and stay as long as you want to. If you are in a hurry or you have a bad attitude, you are in the wrong place!!!" We arrived a little before 2 on a... read more

If you come away hungry I'd like to meet you. Loco Coyote is off the beaten path but it is worth the trip. I have been there twice and each time I left full. The food is delicious. I recommend the onion rings and any of the beef choices. Be sure to get there early because some times they run... More

This seems to be a popular destination for bikers and non-bikers alike. The food was good but took a long, long time to get. The staff was friendly and I hear at times, they have a live band.

A friend had told me about this place so we decided to meet some friends there and give it a try. What a good choice. This place seems like it is in the middle of nowhere. We walked in and there was sawdust floors and music playing. We decided to sit outside at the picnic style tables and listen to... More

We took a weekend 2-day trip to the "country" and visited Loco Coyote on a Friday night in June. I had read the reviews and looked at the website prior to visiting this restaurant. It is out in the country on a county road but the directions are easy to follow. The ambience is a little "Luckenbach" and a little... More

I was driving down the road and saw this sign for BBQ, I saw a road, but no building. Well, I turned around, went back to the road and went about a mile and a half and all of a sudden saw all these parked cars and bikes. This place is literally out in the middle of nowhere, but had... More

Not many people there, and yet they said it would be 1 hour wait to be seated, and then another hour before you eat. Seems like they are just trying to turn people away.

Brooke, Our wait times are always just our best guess. We tend to err on the long side so that our guests are not frustrated should the tables not turn as fast as we would hope. Our normal wait time, if were have a wait list, is about 30 minutes to an hour...sometimes more. As we cook all our food... More

Thought I would give a new review since it had been a while since my last. Ribs and brisket were solid 9 +. Onion rings are still some of the best ever. I like the extra seating and the bar. A true Texas Gem off the beaten path!
