We visited this fun place on Sunday afternoon. Weather was still chilly, but we enjoyed road with many ups and downs. It'd been awesome if sun was shining!! We chose indoor seating since we were nearly freezing. It looked like a little barn with sawdust on the floor and they decorated the place with some nick nakcs, which made this... More

Loco Coyote is a small, family owned, hidden gem. I have been going to this location since I was young. It was operated under a different name then, but same family. Excellent food, drinks & atmosphere. Expect to wait, but worth it!

Great location and neat experience. Our waiter was good but it took a really, really long time to get our food. Maybe it was a function of the group of 25 that was seated just before us. We were there on a beautiful Sunday before President's Day for lunch and it was very crowded. Live entertainment at the outside eating... More

Would have never known this place existed till our neighbours took us there. The drive from our house in Dennis, Texas was beautiful. This restaurant-grill is set in the country almost in the middle of nowhere. When you drive up you expect to be greeted Willie Nelson himself! The food was great and large portions big enough to share. If... More

Tom and Linda Hammonds started Loco Coyote on their homeplace after selling the original Hammonds in Glenrose City limits. Loco is about 6 miles west of Glenrose on gorgeous motorcycle roads! I have eat here many times over the years and it is one of my favorite places to eat. Ribs are my favorite, but the brisket is very good... More

What a neat restaurant tucked away in the middle of a dirt road! The food is authentic, tasty BBQ ! Portion sizes are unbelievably big, we could have order 2 meals for the 4 of us to share. The ribs are bigger than any I've ever seen! There is no flooring, just gravel. It can be a little warm in... More

I have been to Loco Coyote a number of times for lunches, dinners, in the spring, summer and fall. Almost never have I gotten a table right away, and I have always had to wait a good while for my food. But that makes it all ok as you sit at a picnic table talking to the random folks around... More

We heard about this place while visiting glen rose over the weekend. We ordered onion rings to start which were excellent! I ordered the tacos and my husband ordered the loco bone in chop, both were wonderful!! Will definitely be back. Service was great and the owners were very friendly!
