Just wasted 10 minutes of my birthday standing at this counter. The cupcakesand cheese cakes looked amazing! The lady behind the counter never even acknowledged me. Soooooo... On to the next!

We tried this place based on the rave reviews. My wife is a baker, and I dont understand what the fuss is about. Either the cupcakes are iced with storebought canned icing or the baket has managed to perfectly replicate that hideous stuff. The regular buttercreme was fine, but the chocolate tasted canned. the cakes were dry and not tasty.... More

Before we made our trip to Glen Rose, we stopped at a French Bakery in Dallas to get a few goodies. While in Glen Rose we came across Barnard Street Bakery. I will tell you the truth....the baked goods were 100 times better than the "french" stuff we picked up in Dallas. They decorate and create the VERY best cupcakes... More

Located in an Exxon gas station(!), the bakery goods looked to good to pass up when we stopped in to buy lotto tickets later in the evening. Bought an apple fritter and a blue berry muffin for the next morning. Perhaps we waited too long to consume the goods because they were quite average in taste and consistency.

We stop here every year during our visit to Glen Rose. There are a variety of cake slices to choose from, beautiful big cupcakes, cookies and bars. This year, we chose the lemon bars and cream cheese bars. Both were great!

Good pastries. The people were very friendly and even gave our kids some free cookies. The cheesecake was excellent. It is inside an Exxon station, so you might miss it if you are not careful.

Homemade sweets, deserts, wedding cakes, breakfast, snacks! You will not believe the flavor Darcy manages to infuse into her baking! Wow! So much variety to choose from, you could spend hours just trying to decide which decadent desert to consume next! Many deserts are prepackaged right there and ready to go.

So, would you expect to find a wonderful bakery inside of an Exxon station? All types of cakes, pies, treats and goodies and great people to assist you. We've made this a regular stop every time we're in Glen Rose. Don't let just the locals enjoy this!

This tiny little bakery tucked inside an exxon gas station saved our weekend trip by offering up some tasty treats at a truly unbeatable bargain (massive slices for under $3)! Went for breakfast and was not disappointed.

This place is on the main drag in Glen Rose, Texas. Yes, it's in an Exxon station. Looks can be extremely deceiving - we had brownies, cheesecake squares and lemon bars. Quality of food was absolutely delicious. We sampled marble chocolate cheesecake squares - terrific. Double chocolate brownies - wonderful. German chocolate brownies - lovely, but wish it had pecans... More
