Nice quirky hangout

The wife and I split the chicken fried steak which was actually quite good. As mentioned in other reviews, the service was a little slow, but manageable. Deducted a star because we were looking for a place to get out of the July Texas heat and unfortunately, their air conditioning just wasn't able... read more

Deducted a star because we were looking for a place to get out of the July Texas heat and unfortunately, their air conditioning just wasn't able to keep up, leaving us uncomfortablely warm... More

It took over an hour to get our dinner order. My wife was not impressed with the excuses we were given as to why it is taking so long to be served. We felt like we were put in a corner and completely forgotten. Had we not been there to spend time with family we have not seen in years,... More

Nice waitstaff and cool outdoor area is nice. Food was subpar. Lots of fried stuff and mashers were boxed, which was lame.

Very small limited menu. They were out of the salmon when I ordered. Our meals were eatable, but below average. The chicken breast was tasteless and dry My husband and I both had mashed potatoes that were very obviously instant. This was not a place we would chose again.

Absolutely the worst dining experience ever! The table was dirty . Took an hour to get our food for a party of 4. And it wasn't warm when we got it. Got the wrong food .And it took 20 minutes for the waitress to bring me my change for the bill because she did not have access to the register... More

So disappointing. We were with a large group. It took over an hour to get our order and then it wasn't right. When we asked the waitress to return the WRONG appetizer, the kitchen put that order at the end of the line of all the other orders turned in by other waitresses instead of acting to correct the error.... 45 min to get our order. Granted there were 9 of us (4 kids with kid meals). But it wasn't anything complex. We got fried pickles instead of fried jalapeños. Second time they brought jalapeño poppers (cold in the middle). Finally after everyone had eaten we got the correct appetizer. The bills were messed up - finally went to the... More

It was great! A home turned into a restaurant, which included the extended patio and back yard. Staff was friendly and well trained. We had Chicken fried steak and a mushroom provolone burger. The burger was wonderful!

Delicious jalapeno poppers that melt in your mouth, and they come with chips and salsa! The burgers were great too and the fries were awesome, especially the sweet potato fries!

Make sure to check the hours before you go, because they close early! Imagine taking a bunch of really cool old junk and putting it all together (in the best way possible), and that is the atmosphere. Sit on the patio if you can. It is very cool! The food is really good and the service was decent considering we... More
