Great location and great food

We had a group of 25 and everyone thought the food was great! The prices are reasonable, and the ambiance and atmosphere are excellent as well. Kelli was extremely helpful when we made our reservation, and even called to follow-up. Would definitely recommend this place!

Located in an old Victorian house, the place has a homey, but elegant atmosphere. We had 4 small children with us and never felt out of place there. There is nice patio dining out front and even sidewalk chalk for the kids. They brought us cup gulls of crayons for the kids, and also had good food choices for them.... More

Waitstaff was very friendly and the food was very good. Would have liked to try the chicken Marsala but they were sold out. We settled for filets and they were cooked as ordered and good. We also started with truffle fries that were and finished with pie. It did seem like almost everything other than the pie had a lot... More

I have been to this restaurant 7 times. The Salmon is very good. Chicken fried steak and the catfish were good, but would not bring me back. Today we had a roast beef sandwich on rye bread that was very bad, the roast beef was so grisly and tough that I had to cut the sandwich with a fork. My... More

We went on a recommendation. My husband had the pork chop and I had the voodoo pasta with shrimp on the side for my husband to eat since I'm a vegetarian. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff was very friendly- they welcomed our little one with big smiles and the other diners were friendly as well. The bill... More

This was my first visit and I went with friends that had made a dinner reservation. The staff greeted us politely and immediately showed us to our seats. We ordered the spinach dip for our appetizer, it was cheesy goodness. Our bread was fresh and warm, the butter had a hint of Rosemary which made it delicious. I ordered Chicken... More

For a small town, Glen Rose certainly seems to have lots of great places to eat. I called ahead as we were a party of 11 and was somewhat concerned as the whether or not they could feed us in time for us to get to The Promise. They said they could and so I made a reservation. The restaurant... More

I liked at the website for two says and decided that this is where I was going to take my 84 year old father for a nice dinner before attending The Promise. Arrived five minutes before the restaurant opened and enjoyed the front porch and view. Restaurant opened and a staff member came out and said "Does everyone have a... More

This restaurant is in a house. The food was above average in the choices, presentation, and taste. Our waitress was friendly and efficient.
