We went on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The food was great, the service was a one and the place was clean. Only problem I saw was that the place needs to enlarge!
Mel's was recently sold as the owner retired. The new owner has completely remodeled it. The menu is the same. They are only open until 2:00 most weekdays, and later on Sat and Sunday. They make a good breakfast, and wonderful croissant breakfast sandwiches. I noticed the Mel's sign is gone now, but it says breakfast and donuts. Try it.... More
Waitress ignored us. She did the least amount of interaction with us. Never came back to see how things were, did we want anything else, would you like a refill on that coffee? Nothing. I guess it was her way of telling us to leave. Food okay. Someone told me there'd been a knife fight there.
