This is a great place. Reminds one of a diner in the 50's. All food is fresh and local. Excellent vegetables, fried chicken, the the gravy is to die for! A must stop.

Have been there several times since I discovered it. The meatloaf is fabulous but only available on Monday at lunch. Go early. Had a waffle at my most recent visit and it was OK, but not starring. However, their biscuits are perfect. Fruit salad was good. Hamburger is very good. They grow a lot of the herbs and vegetables that... More

In our group we ordered a variety of food from breakfast, lunch and dinner. My husband and I both agreed ours was edible but nothing special. His country fried steak was tasteless. My omlette was extremely greasy thus did not sit well in my stomach after eating. The burger and other lunch items ordered looked better but again with average... More

Comfort food Texas style. Locals and visitors eat here. It can be crowded and noisy but hey it's a diner. The food is good. Many of the greens are grown in their gardens out back. Wait staff is prompt and friendly. It's located a block off the town square and it's worth a short walk to look at the menu.... More

We are new to the area and were looking forward to eating here. We were seated promptly but that was the highlight of our visit. It took 10 - 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. There were only 6 - 8 other customers. There were 8 - 9 servers standing at the bar...all staring at us.... More

We had a late lunch there. Waited for 30 minutes for a table. The service was good but the food was just ok. Chicken was very plain but the cole slaw was good.

The food is delicious - do have to say. The chocolate pie is my favorite - pretty much tops my list. Even ordered for breakfast once. They're pies are popular. The chicken fried steak is amazing - and I'm not really a chicken fried steak person. Their prices have risen even higher - in Georgetown you could expect - popular... More

I have eaten here on and off for over 20 years. They have always had the best food in Georgetown. They recently revised their menu which was a big mistake. The portions are much smaller, but higher prices. My food was not even close to what it use to be. I was seated then I waited 20 minutes for a waiter... More

I was looking for a place to take my Out To Lunch Bunch and just found out they won't even reserve a large table for lunch! ("Get here early and we'll work you in" is ridiculous). Hadn't been there in a long while, now it's going to be an even longer while, since they apparently don't need our business!!

The staff is friendly and attentive. The lemonade and shakes are amazing. The fact that the food is fresh and mainly organic is a great add. My issues are with the change in the menu. They removed everything I enjoyed. Sadly, this is now just a fries and shake place for us. Breakfast is still good.
