The breakfast was terrific, service good, friendly place. We heard about it on TV and wanted to try it out so we drove 66 miles to have breakfast. Really worth the drive. Great for all the family.

I regret not writing a review while we were long-time, devoted Monument patrons -- the ones who brought visitors, knowing no one would be disappointed. Former price increases were acceptable because service, food quality and taste remained exceptional. Last night we were disappointed that the new menu is limited; side salads are less than half the size they used to... More

We tried this place twice at the old location and once at the new one. We didn't want to buy the building, just have a sandwich. $8 for a tuna sandwich. W-a-ay too much $.

All the food is good but the pies are excellent. A good place for breakfast or lunch with family or friends.;

Spacious casual diner style place with home cooking. They serve breakfast all day and a limited entree menu and meal-sized salads. The breakfast food looked and tasted good.Altho we didn't have pie, but they looked fabulous and made on premises. Clean and family friendly. Handicap and scroller accessible.

Ate breakfast there & it was perfect - most ingredients are grown in their organic garden that adjoins their restaurant. Mmmmmmmmm good!

Our family met for a Sunday lunch at Monument Cafe. Even though the wait was long (45 minutes), we were glad we went. We would plan on going again to avoid the crowd during the week next time. Great selections for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Our family had a wide range of meals, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Also,... More

We heard of The Monument Café on Diners Driveins and Dives. My mother and I made a special trip to Georgetown to check it out. What they advertise online is not the menu at the restaurant. She ordered the club sandwich ($10) & then if you want a side it is $4 for that. It is yet another $2.50 for... More

For locals, this is the most popular downtown eatery, for inapparent reasons other than locale, habit, and nostalgia. Very busy and noisy at mealtimes. The typical wait for seating is a least 20 min. at mealtimes; our wait for orders to be taken after the menu was presented was at least 10 min, with another 15-20 min until we were... More

Our out of town visitors wanted a casual American sit down served meal. We took them to Monument Cafe.We have only been there once in the last several years & were satisfied then. The Eggs Florentine were the best I have had. The other 3 diners had the Migas & loved them. Service was OK, but the food was great.
