What a fun experience. First timer and loved it. Had the potato soup - great, other two with me had open-faced roast beef sandwich and the veggie burger. They thought great as well. Perused their market, fresh grown vegetables and lots of other good items. Want to come back, especially to try out their desserts that look wonderful.

It's not like the "old Monument Cafe" - The menu has changed and the chalkboards are gone. They took off the "Migas" and "Huevos Ranchero and quit serving the Ranchero Sauce they used to make at the old restaurant. Enchiladas are gone too! One of the reasons we went to the monument. The prices have gone up and they tend... More

Visited here for lunch with about 25 people. We called an hour ahead to make sure we could all be seated together, and the restaurant was very accommodating. Our serves took care of our large group as well as could be expected. I had a veggie burger, which was delicious if a bit messy. The chocolate pie for dessert was... More

We arrived a little after 1:00pm. The lunch crowd had cleared out. We were promptly seated and our waitress promptly took our beverage order. She then told us that the Wed. special of King Ranch Chicken was sold out. It had lasted about 45 minutes. Plan B. I opted for the liver & onions w/mashed potatoes. My wife went with... More

The space they have created for this "diner" is beautiful. Our breakfasts were all perfectly prepared and presented by attentive and well trained staff. Prices were reasonable and I would go back any time I was in Georgetown, which I hope will be often.

Over rated and over priced. Food just so-so. Service not so good. It does have some features like grape jelly made with real grapes.

It seemed we waited a very long time for our food….it is priced high for what you get. Maybe it was an off day but our grandson was fantastic at 18 months old to wait this long for food. We where not even asked if we wanted a dessert just handed the check. I wouldn't return anytime soon. Food is... More

We don't get to eat here as often as we like due to distance from home, but each visit is a pleasure, atmosphere wise and delicious food choices, some of which comes directly from their garden at the back of the restaurant. Can't get much fresher than that ! Appreciate the staff who are very helpful and attentive even at... More

This is a great place. Reminds one of a diner in the 50's. All food is fresh and local. Excellent vegetables, fried chicken, the the gravy is to die for! A must stop.

Have been there several times since I discovered it. The meatloaf is fabulous but only available on Monday at lunch. Go early. Had a waffle at my most recent visit and it was OK, but not starring. However, their biscuits are perfect. Fruit salad was good. Hamburger is very good. They grow a lot of the herbs and vegetables that... More
