We eat here fairly often. We love that they support the local growers and it is one place I can go for a vegetable plate and have a choice of something other than french fries and fried okra. They have an awesome fruit salad and the chocolate pie is worth a trip----really, really good. The services is good and they... More

I truly have never had a bad meal or poor service at the Monument. The Monument specializes in locally sourced, fresh, simply prepared food and is always a great experience!

Regular customer! Food is locally grown when available. Sometimes there is a wait, especially on Sunday mornings. Have the special of the day before it runs out!

The service is fine, the food is playing fair the prices are inflated the buzz is ridiculous! Somebody rated this is one of the top 10 small-town cafés, if that's true were a world of hurt there at least two dozen better places to eat in Georgetown for something unique, try Dos Salsas.

Monument Cafe looks like a large diner and to a certain extent it is; but it is so much more. A wide variety of menu choices from eggs to steak or fish; all of it great. It's the pefect choice for breakfast, lunch, of supper. There can sometimes be a wait for a table but it's never long except for... More

We came in on a Saturday evening with high recommendations for Monument Cafe . We were told a 25 to 35 minute wait. That's not bad but I never understood as to why there were sections of tables that were never used. It's hard to stand around and wait when you see lots of empty tables. I think they would... More

We went for breakfast. WOW. I could go there everyday for a month just to sample all the appetising-sounding items on their breakfast menu alone. Thankfully we went mid-week and it wasn't too busy, although its a deceptively big place. I had the huevos migas and my wife had a breakfast biscuit sandwich. Both were excellent. I also liked the... We tripped over this place while driving home from Austin, Texas. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service. Dawn, was quick to apologize for not getting to us fast enough and made us feel right at home on our first visit to this great Café! I had the Garden sandwich was so yummy. The grilled... More

Returned here after many years & was pleasantly surprised. There were 4 of us on a Sunday at 1PM. I had an "all day breakfast" item that included the best grits ever! My husband loved his corned beef hash & our friends praised their sandwiches.

I have had breakfast here a couple times now and every time has been amazing. The food is very fresh and very high quality. The hash browns were out of this world. I didn't even want to put anything on them... and they were just potatoes! The banana bread french toast, which is more like dessert, was outstanding, just be... More
