Finally found a place in Georgetown where the Italian food is great. The quality and flavor of the food is much better than at other local Italian places. The service is good too. We've tried the cheese tortellini, calzone, and couple of pizzas. All were great.

I grew up in NYC so pizza is one thing that I know. The pizza here is very good as are the calzones. But, they are ridiculously slow with getting the food to you. I came here for lunch with my husband and we ordered a pizza and calzone and waited for 30 minutes (the restaurant was pretty empty). Also,... More

The pizza here is authentic Italian and delicious. One of my favorite restaurants in the Georgetown area.

We ordered calzonis and do not remember ever waiting this long. Bread was overcooked and hard. The filling did not burst out like most of the well made calzonis. I saw other dishes that looked very good but I would not return for their calzonis.

On those rare occasions when one discovers an off the beaten tourist path, where the locals gather, it is usually a fine experience. Paisano's fits that mold perfectly. Three of us each ordered separate entrees and all were very, very pleased. The atmosphere was in line with the great food. We were told the original family that owned it for... More

We have been eating here for the last 6 years & have always enjoyed it. The new owners (not so new anymore) serve the same great food as the previous owners. They have improved the atmosphere as much as possible inside & it is much more pleasant than before. Jennifer took our order & it came out fast & HOT!!... More

I grew up in New York and there are a few things I still miss: a great bakery, a Jewish Deli, and real Italian food. Lo and Behold Paisano's has the real Italian food. When I walked in the aroma of garlic almost knocked me over - I knew then that I was in for a treat. All of the... More

The atmosphere here isn't anything great. There was a slight funk in the air (cigarettes?), and the chairs weren't very comfortable. The iced tea was way too watered down. But the pizzas were GREAT! Very tasty and good-sized portions. Service was good. I'll probably get take-away next time I need pizza, but it will certainly be from here!

We went here as a group with a reservation (30 people). I was amazed at how smooth the service went. Orders were taken by table (we had 3 large tables), and food started appearing very rapidly. We were wearing name tags, and our server used our names in speaking to us. Pretty impressive! I believe the owner was there, he... More
