The only Greek or Mediterranean food for miles and miles around, and it's very satisfying. Not great, but good enough to satisfy. Had plenty of choices and even a variety of deserts, not just baklava. My vegetarian husband was happy too. Decor is not fancy, but plenty of pix of white domed roofs and bright blue oceans. Easy to get... More

It is nothing fancy. Never have to wait. But the BEST food in Georgetown. I do not eat out a lot - but when do, this is almost always my choice. When my various family visit from out of town, always their choice. Real Greeks cooking great Greek food. A must. Reasonable prices. Even desserts. Funny - Just went to... More

Plaka is just OK. As there aren't many Greek options around this area, average Greek food is better than no Greek food. What I don't like is that everything is a combo plate. There's nothing that really stands out. A Greek restaurant that never offers avgolemono? Where you can never get tzatziki sauce and pita? No chicken souvlaki or lamb... More

It's okay. Just okay. I think most reviewers don't now good Greek from bad. If you know Greek food, you will not be impressed. The service is okay, the food is okay, and the prices aren't bad. But it's just average, folks. Highly overrated on this site.

In the last two weeks I have went to this restaurant twice. The first time I called my order in & picked it up @ the window. I had the number four. A gyro wrap combo which included a huge portion of lamb & beef, wrapped in a pita bread including, lettuce, onions & tomatoes. I can't remember the last... More

Very large and delicious Gyros. You could split one because they have so much meat in them. The Greek salad was also very tasty.

This is my favorite restaurant in Georgetown. I love the Greek chicken salad with the fresh veggies, the seasoned chicken and the yogurt dressing. It's huge so I get two meals out of it. Don't forget the bread! The restaurant is casual and cafeteria style so service is quick.

Food fresh, flavorful. Went with friends, everyone had different dish. Some liked it, some did not. Not real fancy, very simple.Order, then you take selections to your table. No wait staff. No bar. I enjoyed it, would go back and try another selection.

We stopped by here for a quick dinner. It is a low key cafeteria style restaurant and was quite busy. The food was good and the prices were nice as well. We will go here again.

Interesting and different food. Cafeteria style service. Very generous servings. Reasonable prices. Want to go back and try the lamb shanks that they serve on Saturdays only.
