Most people think this is about the beer, but the food is good too. Their menu is made to be "beer friendly" so if you're looking for haute cuisine, this isn't the place. But for a great atmosphere, on the lake, plenty of brew, and good food, this is the place!

My daughter and I ate here the other day and had a great meal. I tried the Cobb salad with grilled chicken and was very impressed. The blue cheese was particularly delicious.

The Flying Saucer at the lake is a nice place to get a beer and sit out on the back deck by the lake if the weather is nice. The food is about average and the service has been pretty good out of the ten to twelve times we've been here.

First time here was great I had the fried fish and shrimp and my husband had the German dinner. The second time we ate here wasn't as great. The service and food was lacking. The waitress wasn't very attentive, both my husband and I were finished with our beers but she only brought me a new one. And we ordered... More

They have an enormous beer selection. The staff was very helpful and attentive. They recommended beers and provided samples to beers you might enjoy. I had a great time watching the NCAA tournament with the occasional break to see the view of the lake outside. If you enjoy beer, go pay them a visit.

This restaurant has a great location right on the lake. The selection of beers is overwhelming with something for absolutely everyone. Love that you get on the wall of fame after you have tasted 200 different beers and they have a tracking system for it. The food was good pub food but nothing special.

Fantastic beer selection and very nice happy hour specials. The outdoor patio is excellent for nice days. The food was better than typical bar food. Their hummus was surprisingly tasty and had a spicy kick to it. I had the Space Club and it was very good. My friends had burgers that looked and smelled great too. My only complain... More

It has all kinds of odd beers, and some good food. In the summer you can eat outdoors and watch the boats go by and dock.

The Flying Saucer is a great all-American restaurant on the western shore of Lake Hubbard. Seating is both inside and out, with the inside seating within booths and on long tables across the length of the bar. The staff were fantastic; very knowledgeable and extremely adept at balancing multiple pints of different beers whilst weaving through the punters! The beer,... More
