Went to the Firewheel Houlihan's for a family dinner. They offer good "comfort food" at mid-line chain restaurant price. The atmosphere is dimmer lights and darker paint - gives a cozy feel. Service was great and food was very tasty! The restrooms were interesting with very busy tile and a high clear window open to outside. The sink was a... More

Grabbed a quick bite here in between visiting friend on our last trip to Dallas. There of us shared the chipolte nacho appetizer that was huge, tasty with plenty of guacamole , salsa, and sour cream. Our friend had the baked potato soup and said it was wonderful. We noticed the stuffed mushrooms at the table next to us as... More

I wasn't impressed. The food was just so-so. Atmosphere was good. Seating was uncomfortable. Wait staff was snooty. Service was okay. For the price, it wasn't worth what we received. The only reason I won't give them less of a rating is that I have only been there once and it's possible that we were there on an off day.... More

Houlihan's is a chain that thinks too highly of itself. We have have been there 3 times and they have struck out. When you walk in you notice a nice modern design with the lights at a very low level, only when we went during the day could we adequately see around the restaurant. The cool factor does not make... The bar here is the centerpiece, but if you don't drink, it can get really crowded and loud. The food is usually an experience and a good one. We had a new salad with rice noodles and sirloin which was very unusual--basil, cilantro, chili lime dressing--they failed to mention jalepenos, but the overall flavor was really good, just a big... Overall the food is very good. But I go there especially for the meatloaf, it's fantastic. They have a very nice bar and a very nice outdoors scene especially when it's not too hot.

We really like the décor of the restaurant but find the food selection to be somewhat limited and prices too high.

This restaurant stands out from the rest. The food is excellent and unique, no matter what I've tried. Great atmosphere to sit and talk for a while. Comfy booths. Classy but not dressy.

I have visited this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed their variety of food and drinks. Outdoor patio is great even in the winter with a large fire pit to warm your bones. Drinks can be a bit pricey but are all unique and flavorful--eg., Blackberry Rita, Raspberry Mojito...etc. Appetizers are great, recommend the stuffed mushrooms--yummy. Parmesan Frites are... More

Great place with awesome pulled pork sliders...adding the fried pickle spear is greatness. Everything I've tried has been great. Great low cal goat cheese chicken salad option. Pot roast, burgers, chicken sandwiches, steak are all great. Love the small portion options for those watching their weight. For those that aren't their carrot cake dessert is rich and delicious.
