Enjoyed a great lunch on a cold day. One complaint was that the restaurant was very cold on an already cold day. We all enjoyed lunch that Sunday afternoon, although all menu items weren't available. For items unavailable, staff made alternate suggestions. They also suggested a great local restaurant for dinner.

This place is super cute and has a very convenient location if you are staying or visiting anywhere near the Strand. Their main menu selection is sandwiches. My wife and I tried the Turkey and Brie and the Elizabeth's breakfast sandwich (Organic peanut butter, fresh blueberries & strawberries with organic Texas pecans and honey). Both were amazing! The place seemed... More

Above average? Certainly. Excellent? I wouldn't say so. I support the goal of this restauaunt and it does some great things. My criticism of the food is reserved for the cook. Lets start with dessert: butterscotch pecan cookie. Good, a little blah..it needed more brown sugar. In fairness I am more accustomed to the overly -sweet bake good and perhaps... More

We loved this little place for lunch. The waitress was very nice and friendly. The menu offered vegetarian sandwiches as well as soups, salads, etc. We went twice because we enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and service.

Went for the first time to this place even though we have been wanting to try it for some time. We were getting our meal to go and the first thing I noticed was how expensive all the soft drinks on the menu were. One of my pet peeves is a place that charges $2.95 for ice tea or lemonade!... More

The food was amazing and healthy. The fresh baguette is spot on as well as the home roasted turkey breast and fresh organic ingredients. I can't wait to return!

My first time there and I was delightfully surprised! I had the caprese sandwhich and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was wonderful. I would go back anytime.

Interesting to look at all the "flea market" items for sale. Food was good, service nice. Walking distance to our hotel.

This place is amazing both for great food and great principle. The menu items are fresh and delicious. The restaruant atmosphere is warm with beautiful exposed brick wall and art done by local artists. The cafe also serves as the distribution point for their "Farm Boxes" a service to provide locally grown, organic food items to the Galveston community. An... More
