Best eggs benedict

Sunflower has a good variety on their menu but the eggs Benedict is my favorite. Good salty ham, rich hollandaise. Good coffee, good service. Fantastic bakery too. Highly recommended.

We pulled up along side beach parking on the street and the parking officer told us we had to visit this restaurant before we left. We had already eaten lunch but wanted to check the place out. Excellent cinnamon rolls and chocolate cheesecake brownies! I asked if they were home made before ordering and definitely so. If I am in... More

We went to Sunflower Bakery & Cafe on Saturday, May 16, 2015. We got served by a Punjabi-Ukrainian server. Very polite young man. Their bakery is to die for. Their Philly Cheese Stake Sandwich was one of the best I have had in a long time.

Easy to find with off street parking in a quiet area. We were seated immediately on a Monday morning, which by the way, they were busy. Two rooms for dining both decorated SO cute! Loved the colors, the vintage and weathered items with the artwork. A small shop is located in a 3rd room with interesting odds and ends from... More

My wife and I had breakfast here this morning. It is a Tuesday so we were sat immediately. Our waitress, Alexandria, was attentive and friendly. She recommended the Challah French Toast which was wonderful. All of the other food was great as well. We ordered a big breakfast that would have been plenty for us to split. Inside was a... More

We typically get the same breakfasts with the carne guisada and eggs my hands down favorite. Linda loves the eggs benedict. The service is usually good, especially if you get one of the long-time staff. It gets pretty noisy and could use a little sound dampening. The bakery is fantastic too with irresistible chocolate bred pudding.

Great bakery and breakfast/ brunch place! Long wait to get in on the weekends but worth the time as the food is delicious! And the quality of seafood in there savory dishes is excellent!

I arrived in Galveston in the evening with my son straight off the flight from Houston, and had already checked this place would be open when we got here. I haven;t been back to Galveston for two years, but we wanted a light meal, and I'm so pleased that the standards are as high as they were before. We just... More

Stopped in on a recommendation from a friend. We were not let down. We had the eggs benedict and the migas. Both were above average. This place is definitely on our list to go back to. It can get a little busy on the weekends but take a stroll through the antique/curio store in the back of the building while... More

Have traveled in most of Texas and the US and this was the best breakfast ever. One of the most creative menus that would surprise anyone. Great service and wonderful bakery. I will be back as soon as I can.
