This was a recommendation by a friend who lives down here and it was fantastic! They have a bakery with wonderful breads and they bring a sampler basket out with with meal. So wonderful! The food was also very good. They had basic items, but put together in a wonderful way- almost gourmet. Just a basic dinner salad was great... More

The eggs Benedict was great, but a little pricey. The coffee was hit and miss. I had 3 cups while there. The first one was weak, the other two were ok. I took home a rocky road brownie and a lemon bar. The brownie was yummy and had a layer of marshmallow on it. The Lemon bar was awesome. I... More

The food was so wonderful, fresh, priced well, tasted delicious and great portions. We couldn't resist dessert!! We even went back before leaving town to get some to take on the road. The staff was awesome, friendly and on top of all out needs. Definitely a place to visit while in Galveston!!

We're been going to the Sunflower Cafe for the past six years, and we have never been disappointed. When our children and grandkids visit, one of our favorite things to do is bike there for breakfast - "Table for 14, please." The service is always gracious and accommodating, and a bite never goes uneaten. Lunch is superb, as well -... More

We go to Galveston all the time, but if we eat breakfast/brunch, we usually do so at our hotel (Galvez). However, after hearing so many great things about this place from locals and tourists alike, we decided to try it for ourselves. We went around noon on a Sunday and it was really crowded, so there was a 30 minute... More

We split the Shrimp Omelet. The southwestern flavor with shrimp, ranchero sauce and avocado was worth the trip. We also took home a loaf of jalapeno bread, baked on premises. Wonderful and will return!

We discovered this place about a year ago and have eaten there each time we visit Galveston. Recently when visiting we ate there two days in a row. The bakery items are always fresh and really good. Always bring something home! The breakfasts are delicious and large. Coffee is also great. The owners and everyone who works there are so... More

The waffles are great! Crispy and delicious with syrup. They also have a nice portion of bacon, not your typical two slices- they gave five slices. Yum! I definitely recommend this place.

We ate breakfast here on Memorial Day. They had steady business but we did not have to wait for a table. I ordered the shrimp omelet and my husband ordered the Little Breakfast. My omelet was okay but I was expecting something a bit different. The salsa was really not spicy at all, the shrimp were small, and the avocado... More
