I've been here at least four times now. Every time has been excellent. You can tell they care about the food quality and service. It can get crowded, so you can probably expect some type of wait time, depending on when you are there. They have a brunch menu on Sundays, but I just can't pass up the excellent breakfast... More

We shared a family dinner here on a Saturday night. With two small children and no reservation, we opted to sit in the second floor dining area. It was a good choice for us, a bit more casual. The wait staff was incredibly attentive, especially since they had to exit the building and climb stairs to reach the 2nd floor... More

My friend and I began our day trip to the island here, and it was a highlight of the day. I had the bread pudding French toast, a delicious, not overly sweet, option, and she ordered the Eggs Benedict with delicious hollandaise and potatoes. I highly recommend the restaurant and baked goods, after just finishing a biscotti with coffee.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere-- nice bakery with fresh desserts. We ordered one of the specials but they were already out by the time we got there. Food was good. Waitress was super and made a great recommendation on her favorite desserts for us.

I love to go to the Sunflower for a delicious fish meal at lunch time. Their options change from day to day but you can usually find a nut crusted dish such as almond crusted or pecan crusted snapper or another succulent fish choice. Whatever the filet of the day, the portion will be generous and delicious. The sides are... More

Outstanding casual breakfast/lunch cafe on Galveston's east end. Our party of 2 had a 20 minute wait at 10 a.m. on a Sunday, but it was worth it. Crabmeat omelette and the blueberry/blackberry coffee cake were outstanding. Generous mimosas. Baked goods all look very good and very fresh. A runner from another restaurant in town was buying several dozen bread... More

We were told our seating would take about 10 minutes, so we meandered into the attached antique shop. Within about two minutes, we were seated. Our waiter was great, and the food and coffee were delicious. We had the Santa Fe Huevos (loved the corn cake underneath), challah French toast (perfection), and chocolate chip pancakes (yummy but would've preferred the... More
