I have lived in Galveston for a few years and haven't stopped coming yet! This is where I take my friends and family when they are visiting the island. Very welcoming environment and food is consistently wonderful, especially breakfast. Weekend menus change and always offer something delicious. The waiters are so kind and have taken great care of us over... More

We go there very frequently and hands down they have the best breakfast and brunch in town! Home made meal with a great friendly service. They substituted the bacon with fresh baked turkey and was delicious!!

This was our first time here and we were not disappointed. Great service and really good food! The smells of the bakery were like frosting on a very good cake.

We visited this restaurant on a busy Sunday morning. We were seated immediately and our server was excellent! All of our plates were very good, from a shrimp omelette to eggs Benedict to pork chops and eggs! An added bonus was the bakery products that could be bought "to go"!

Docent at Bishop Palace recommended Sunflower Bakery. Really nice staff with smiles and attentive. Very clean and I liked the fact that they didn't jam too many tables into the restaurant. We ordered the tomato basil soup with half a sandwich. I got the BLT and Mom got egg and bacon on croissant. Soup was chock full of tomatoes and... More

GREAT strawberry mimosa with lunch and sunny disposition by our server made this a lunch to remember. He was so helpful, considerate and attentive without being intrusive. Food was fresh, homemade and remarkable. Went back for breakfast later in the week. Unfortunately we didn't get the same server and the next guy was rude, inattentive and flat. Fortunately breakfast was... More

Unless you come at an off hour, don't plan to have an in-depth conversation with your tablemates. The excellent food and cheerful ambience brings both tourists and locals in droves. That said, some of the dishes are the best in town, so even a wait for a table is worth it. How the kitchen manages to produce crab cakes with... More
