A great place for breakfast!

My business breakfast brought us to Sunflower Bakery and Cafe and I would highly reccomend. The food was terrific! I had the quiche and my friends had waffles, eggs etc. It all looked good. The atmosphere was quaint and they have a great little shop attached.

We had an all-time great bunch today: crab and eggs, plus french toast, with fresh coffee. I almost gave them 4 stars because they serve french toast with log cabin syrup- however, they give you the real stuff if you pay extra. The patrons next to us were preferring it, thinking of it as a lo-cal choice. So I blame... More

It's easy to be cynical about restaurants that claim to serve the best, since all eateries tend to make that assertion. Especially when it comes to breakfast. People are like, "It's bacon. It's eggs. It's pancakes. They're all pretty much the same, right?" WRONG! Whilst it's true, that there are several delectable dining options on the island for that all-important... More

We stopped yesterday to buy a couple of items from the bakery and look over their breakfast menu. I got a chocolate bread pudding muffin and Willa got a cream puff. Both were delicious, fresh and just about as good as it gets for items like these. Today, we returned to have breakfast in their dining room. There is a... More

Hubby and I visited for Sunday brunch, and I have to say, it took us about 20 minutes to make up our minds on what we wanted to order. There is a brunch menu, a breakfast menu, and a regular menu. I've been before so I knew one thing I wanted were the stuffed avocados. One was with egg salad... More

We had heard this place was good, but, weren't quite prepared for HOW good. Five of us all said it was the best breakfast EVER. I ordered the oyster benedict which was killer; another had the salmon benedict which included a huge piece of beautifully grilled salmon (expecting some appetizer portion of smoked salmon); even the "little"breakfasts were huge with... A good place for breakfast. I had the Migas, wonderful/flavorful egg dish. I also had the pecan pancakes, Yummy! The wife had a omelet which was also great. Son had a kid's eggs and pancake, just the right size. Would have like to see our waitress Yadi a little more. Could have used some more coffee. We took home some... More

The food was very good. I had chicken hash that was too chickeny for me but had a chipotle hollandause sauce that was amazing. The fish tacos were good with a nice look in sauce. My wife had a unique meal of avacado cups. It isn't truly a bakery though.
