This is in The Strand area and is like stepping into the 1920's. Wonderful calorie novelties or just get a dish of their many flavors of ice cream. Worth the stop!

This place is a must see while in Galveston. The homemade ice cream is delish and the candy offering insane!:) Never in my life would I have expected to see chocolate covered gummy bears!:) The taffy is great too. It is very busy and hard to find a seat, but if you are in the area, you have to stop... More

This place can get crazy busy, but the taffy show is neat to watch, the candy is good and the ice cream is divine, and a good price. Its always the last place we hit before leaving just so the taffy doesn't melt while we wander the strand

Went to this place based on previous reviews and wasnt disappointed. They have hundreds of different types of candy, ice cream by the cup or by the cone, root beer floats, old time soda shop flavors. I had the Vanilla Dr. Pepper and it was wonderful. Highly recommend no doubt. Plenty of nice shops in the area as well. Worth... More

We absolutely love this place. We visit it every time we make our way down to Galveston. There is so much candy. You could go into a diabetic coma just walking in the door. There is ice cream, coffee, and the taffy is the best. This is a must when visiting Galveston...you'll love it.

From the exquisite marble soda fountain, to the old wooden floors to the rainbow of candy and confections behind the glass cases, this is MUST SEE in Galveston. We actually hit it on our way out of town, and picked up fresh hand made Salt Water Taffy for ourselves and our neighbors who got our paper and mail. NOTE: There... More

Had a great time with my family. We got fresh made ice cream and salt water taffy. We'll visit on each trip to Galveston.

No trip to Galveston is complete unless you visit this place on The Strand. They have lots of sweets to choose from. On those hot summer days try a root beer float.

it's crowded and noisy inside, but that just means it's really good. I got a frozen yogurt ice cream and it tasted so rich, I thought I was eating a full fat ice cream. the pralines and other candies were very good too (so much for those calories I saved by eating the yogurt ice cream, right?) ENJOY!!

Store is located in The Strand area of Galveston. They are a very large candy store and old fashioned soda fountain. Great selection. Great candy. Lots of candy is made right there on site.
