First meal in Galveston

Service was great! Very nice waitress. My husband had crawfish and found them to be very different than New Orleans. A bit disappointed. I had Peel 'em shrimp. They were hot and I thought they would be chilled. Parking is a bit limited.

Some friends had eaten here and highly recommended it to us so we went with them on their second visit in two days. Man oh man were they right. In fact, we enjoyed our first visit so much we took some other friends back with us the next night! Everything we had was delicious so it doesn't matter what you... More

We were here over Mardi Gras & absolutely loved this place! Everything was great from the food, to service, to atmosphere. Well, we went back over the Spring Break weekend & had a horrible meal from start to finish! First off, we were back in the corner against the back wall & there is a smell coming from this area... Super friendly restaurant with local atmosphere. Food was authentic lots cheaper then Landry's on Seawall. Try the Gumbo! Will be back.

We were looking for dinner after the Mardi Gras parade and everything was well over a 2 hour wait. The friends we were with had been here before so we decided to go. It was fabulous! They passed out fresh hush puppies while we waited and announced that they had run out of crawfish :(, but we were seated and... More

ended up here after several other options were a bust. Very small, crowded neighborhood dive. We opted for sitting at the bar instead of waiting for 30 minutes. Not the cleanest place in town and note to management... Old samples of your seafood at the entrance is not appealing! Ordered gyros and crab cakes. We all liked our food, the... More

My family has been coming to Galveston for years & we have never eaten here... Big Mistake!!! The food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere was great & the management was great! My wife & son have been wanting crawfish for some time now, so we headed to the Cajun Greek for lunch. They got the 5# crawfish... More

Good lunch, ordered po'boy with grilled shrimp. Should have gone with fried. The blacked shrimp were overcooked and little tiny.

This is a small, bare bones, nothing fancy restaurant with AMAZING food. We had the tzatziki and pitas for appetizers and the classic gyro for the main meal. I seriously can't get enough of the tzatziki sauce. My son had the shrimp poboy (deep fried) and daughter had the kids' shrimp (also deep fried). They enjoyed their meals, as well.... More

The food we had was tasty, Mediterranean Shrimp was very good, with great cream sauce and lots of shrimp. Scallop dish was also tasty, but, only 3 scallops seemed skimpy. However, and this is a deal breaker, the restaurant smell was awful! We almost left, but, moved closer to the front door & stayed. The waitress attributed the odor to... More
