Fresh fish, good food

Small restaurant with Cajun and Greek food. Had the snapper filet with some ponchatrain sauce on the side. Very tasty. Wife had gyros which were as good as Greek town in Chicago. Restaurant is small and was very busy, somewhat noisy bit acceptable. Would visit again.

As most people, when at a coast I always try to find fresh sea food and while looking through trip advisor we ran across this little jewel and the name Cajun Greek caught our attention and peaked our interest. This little place was beyond anything I could have expected. They had market fresh Flounder that had just arrived from the... More

My husband, 4 year old son and I ate here for a dinner ---it is a great local spot. We had boudin balls to start then my hubby had rock crab, I had fried shrimp basket and my little one had hot dog. The waitress was so nice in recommending things--the fish at caught locally and brought in daily. The... More

Two of us went to eat and the food was good and Desmond was very nice and attentive. The food was served in a good timeframe. Warm food was warm and cold items were cold. Their sweet tea is really sweet. I usually do half and half on my tea.. half sweet and half unsweetened. You don't have to get dressed... More

Very good, only complaint when we visited was that we didn't have enough room for more and we got in after lunch rush so and only 2 of us could get crawfish as they ran out. Parking was tight for such a busy place.

It has been years since we've eaten here and were excited to return. Fried shrimp was ok, not as good as it used to be. Frozen fries and onion rings for $20, not a good value. Place is always busy, clean, with pleasant staff. Not what it used to be. Won't be back.

The menu at Cajun Greek is an unexpected mix of items that seems to work. It includes everything from fried seafood and po-boys to grilled vegetable gyros. The restaurant contains a small bar. The beer menu is modest. The atmosphere is casual.

It's just amazing! Casual dining and a hometown, family business-flavor. It's a hidden, off the beaten path treasure! The only restaurant that truly prepares fresh caught that day seafood!

Cajun Greek restaurant is located at 61st street on the way home to Houston. We tried oyster on the half shell, crab bisque, seafood soups, scallops, greek salads and key lime pie. Excellent food. Customer service average. Not overly friendly. Pro: excellent food, tasty Cons: Too expensive
