This was my fault should have read the reviews... More

Nothing too exciting about this place, its trying too hard to be "unique" Lots of fried food, nothing that really stood out.

We were disappointed with Joe's current "service". We were about 830 pm Friday. Although they appeared to have alot of staff and they were not that busy, our service was horrible. We ordered crab dip appetizer. Received ten minutes but with stale chips (chewy) after 30 minutes we advised the missing server and he disappeared for another 10 minutes returning... More

Food was good, but not great. Mudslide was awesome, but when it comes to Mudslides I'm easy to please. Had the shrimp alfredo, it was good but dont waste your time on the garlic bread. It looked like it would taste good but it was bland and tasted like regular bread. Atmosphere was meh. Eating inside reminded me of my... More

We had a fun and delicious dinner there. Casual place with music. Very good quality of King and Queen crabs. This place is really good. I'll go again

My first time trying crab and my first time to Galveston, TX. Had quite a wait to get seated and noticed several empty tables. The food was very good. Arrived hot. I now like crab! The shrimp was large and very good. Service was great. Our waiter was very attentive. Very pricey though. I would think it would be cheaper... More

Always love a crab from the shack. Always tastes great as it did at this location. Chose to ate outside at varound 7 and that was a big mistake. As soon as the food came we were surrounded by flies and spent half the meal swatting them away. Also service was a little rushed, eating crash should not be rushed.

I was craving lobster and had one of the bucket dinners with 2 whole lobsters. They were overcooked and I had a hard time even chewing them. But the service (at the bar) was AMAZING and will DEFINITELY go back. But next time, I'll stay away from the lobster!

The food was a little disappointing. We sat outside, had a great view of the Gulf, but the food was cold by the time we got it. There were four of us and we all had different dishes and they were equally as bad. I won't be eating there again. I'll try the Brick House Tavern the next time around.
