I love Joe's Crab Shack and usually go to one whenever I can. This one was new and on the Seawall. The decor was a little less tacky then the usual Joe's. Our server was super friendly and funny. He gave us some great recommendations for dessert and they were spot on. Loved this Joe's!! More

We haven't ever been to a "Joe's Crab Shack" and was pleasantly surprised! Even though it is a chain, it's on the seawall, so the beach is across the street. The food was great and the service was excellant! :) More

The crab was pretty good, and the service was OK, but it was a clone of a million other places. It was our first meal in Galveston, and we found much better locally owned places later in the trip. More

The crab buckets and steampots are superb! Abundant, tasty, and fun eating! Nice bar selection with the usual beers, and a whimsical cocktail selection that goes well with crab. I ate so much I could pop. A great experience! More

I went to Joes Crab Shack in Galveston with friends and family this Summer. Not only was the food Great, but the wait staff were friendly, prompt, and entertaining! The best thing I remember about Joe's Crab Shack is the fun atmosphere. Service staff dance from time to time and so do some customers! Chicken dance, macarena, etc. The drink was a bit water down. Food was good but not great. Overall, it was a good experience. More

Thought we would enjoy a nice dinner , boy was I wrong! It looks good, since they built a new building, but the service is terrible! We sat down and ordered our food and drinks. I like joes. It's a fun place to eat. It can be too loud at times, but if you've ever eaten at Joes you expect that. It's not gourmet food, but it's priced like that especially the drinks. They don't list the price of their specialty drinks and they can run 8 bucks or more a piece which is too... More

This is probably my last trip to Joe's Crab Shack -----------the service and our waitress were horrible, starting with our drinks and thru paying the check - We recieved our drinks and meal - in pieces thru out our whole visit with lots of time in between.
