We sat at the bar on a Friday night with no reservations. Fortunately we go seats immediately. Wonderfully cheery and professional bartender. Immediately greeted us, provided wine list, and some plantain chips. Her service continued to be impeccable all night. Sometimes bartenders in nicer restaurants are confused on whether to be more casual or strictly formal more like the servers.... More

My husband visited Rudy's & Paco's for my 50th birthday -- just the two of us. The food and service both were impeccable! And although the staff and food were designed for fine dining, I was so relieved that I could wear somewhat casual attire (nice crop pants and flat sandals) and my husband had a good time trying to... The food was absolutely wonderful. The service was unlike anywhere I've ever been - very attentive. I'd go back in a heartbeat if it was closer.

We had a very nice lunch with very attentive staff. I had angel hair pasta with crabmeat and my husband had pork, which was the special of the day.

It was Saturday night, reservations made (required through on line dinner booking tool), and we were anxious to enjoy a paced dinner experience. We were ushered to our table right on time, on a very busy night, and enjoyed a memorable experience. The service was delivered by a veteran waiter who tempted us with several "specials" of the evening, prompting... More

I really think Rudy & Paco is Galveston at its very best. We dined there on a Friday evening and, of course, it was packed. But, it was obvious that the chefs and servers are used to a full house and they were able to choreograph things beautifully. Every detail of the table, the service, and the food was impeccable.... Wonderful food. Menu is outstanding with several seafood choices along with beef and chicken dishes. Service was very good. Since this is an upscaled restaurant I appreciate their dress code being enforced (no shorts and so on). We are looking for our next visit.

This is the 4th or 5th time I've been to Rudy & Paco's. The food and service have never failed to impress. The hallmark of an excellent restaurant is consistency, and this establishment excels. Very professional, unobtrusive service and five star food. The prices reflect the quality and are a good value in my opinion. Great restaurant.

Good food but a little pricey. And then the NO Shorts policy for men shorts. I would understand no cutoffs but $ high doller dress shorts in a SO Called coastal resort town. Please?? Even without that policy I would rather go across the street to Saltwater Grill

The menu comprised mostly of seafood and a few beef and chicken platters. I recognized one of the chicken dishes from previous visits to Managua, Nicaragua and the owner(s) continue to pay tradition to their homeland by bringing this delicious chicken dish to Galveston. What impressed me about Rudy and Paco beyond their delicious meals is how efficiently the staff... More
