perfect service

Pick any dish on the menu and it will be delicious. Service is always phenomenal. Paco will come out and say hello if he is in town. Tasteful décor.

When we used to live in the area we visited Rudy and Paco's frequently. We moved away 4 years ago but have gone back to visit and every single time we do we go to Rudy and Paco's. We have never had a bad meal or a bad experience. We always meet our friends there and will continue to do... More

My wife and I went to Rudy & Paco's for her birthday celebration on Friday. Not only was the food fantastic, but the wait staff and atmosphere were on par with any fine dining establishment in Texas. We had the tempura fried lobster for a starter, and were not let down when a giant 1 lb lobster tail was brought... More

My wife and I went to Rudy and Paco to celebrate our anniversary, and we were not disappointed. The food was a little pricey, but worth it. My wife got chicken and I got fish, and we also had shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. Everything tasted fresh and had a wonderful presentation. The service was excellent as well; my glass... More

I shared a wonderful meal with my 95 year old mother in law and 3 sister in laws during our first night in Galveston. I ate the soft shell crab which is the best I've ever had! My sister in laws had the red snapper and the crab cakes and they were fabulous! The service was first rate and everyone... More

My Mom and I went here for brunch and we both loved the ceviche the best. It was really plump fresh fish soaked in a delicious oily lime marinade with really fresh diced ceviche vegetables. We couldn't get over how good it was. I also had the fried shrimp and she had the crab pasta with capers. Both were really... More

We visited today for a birthday celebration. We were impressed by the level of attention and the excellently prepared food. My wife and I had Parmesan encrusted grouper. It was the best we have ever had. It's well worth the price.

My wife and I dined at Rudy and Paco on April 11th 2015. Paco was the most gracious host. Our experience was like a finely choreographed "ballet" of service - professional, friendly, perfect timing and attention to detail. I had the Red Snapper Simpatico and my wife had the Red Snapper Parker. Both were outstanding. Even the sides were delicious. The... More

While still good, this was one of the lesser meals we have had here. Grouper and its sauce were bland, little taste. Surprised to have the soft-shell crabs come out breaded and fried. Even fried, they had little taste. Since they were the most expensive dish on the menu, expected something more creative and better tasting. Seems like the chef... More
