It's a good grill, and that's OK

We've eaten here several times. The food is good, reliable, filling, but nothing fancy--it's a grill, not haute cuisine! Prices are very reasonable. Service (my obsession) is very good. Waitstaff are attentive, competent. Many have worked here for some time, so they know the menu. Many are... read more

My husband and I went for a weekend away and went to the Miller's Grill on a Saturday for dinner. There was a little bit of a wait but it was so well worth it. Our waitress was very attentive and our food came in a timely manner. We both go the chicken fried steak and it was huge!! We... More

Waitstaff are attentive, competent. Many have worked here for some time, so they know the menu. Many are outright cheerful. There was two of us and we were seated within 10 minutes after arrival w/o reservations. It was a Saturday night, but it was in October so the place was fairly full, but only waiting was for larger parties (6 or more). Our waiter was fast, had good recommendation on various menu items and checked on us several times to... More

My wife and I had breakfast there. I had the french toast which was way, way too sweet for me. Wife had an omlete which was cooked good and she said it tasted ok. Price was not bad. Had a real good view of the gulf.

We had blackened grouper and the shrimp specialty plate, both of which were prepared well. Service was excellent and the wait minimal consdering it was a Saturday night.

The shrimp platter was highly recommended and did not disappoint. Our server, Brian, was wonderful and made the experience that much better. Thanks from OKC!

Food was a little below average for Galveston. Shrimp seemed frozen vs. FRESH which to me is NOT EXCUSABLE on an island. Service was slow. Portions were large, but large really doesn't matter if the food isn't great. Servers were pleasant. Interrior was nice.

We chose this restaurant because it had a high rating from TripAdvisor, at the rating was right on! My husband and I ordered the Miller's Seafood Platter and shared. We chose gumbo, crab cake (huge), fried oysters, shrimp and catfish. It was more than enough for two people! The gumbo was the real deal, my husband is very picky about... More

My friend and I went for lunch as it was close to our hotel. The staff were very friendly, the service was excellent and our lunches were good and great value for money.

We have been to Galveston many times and had never eaten at Miller's. We found the food to be very good. I had the grilled chicken and my wife had the chicken fried steak. Both each also ordered two sides. We were very impressed. The total bill was $21. Great place to go when you are in Galveston, TX.
