We come to The Spot every time we visit Galveston. Probably the best burger I've ever had, this time I had the Blue Cheese and Bacon burger...Wow! Juicy, huge and the Blue Cheese was rich and excellent. Always get the seafood stuffed jalapeños, they are great and you get five huge peppers! We were here for a 3 day visit... More

The Spot is a cool place across the road from the beach. Has several options to choose from. If you are new to The Spot, you may feel somewhat confused. It offers several different 'rooms' to dine to choose from. One serves only appetizer foods and drinks, one is a bar that you must be 21 to enter, several are... More

The food is good and the view is nice. It's an upscale fast food joint. The staff is friendly but you don't deal with them to much. It's nice place to stop a long the sea wall.

This is my tenth time going to The Spot. It's close to the beach and a casual place to eat. Their burgers are great. I had the Mahi sandwich this time and it was phenomenal. Hard to find a table sometimes but not a bug deal. Great views of ocean.

I agree that you feel like you need instructions when going to this place. Luckily, I overheard some other customers talking as we stood in line. Tip: Pick one person to stand in line and order and one person to go find a table. I took my kids and found a table that someone just got up from. It was... More

Wonderful, casual lunch spot with really fast service. I got a huge portion of fish tacos with fresh blackened fish and there's a nice spot upstairs to sit by the seawall. Just don't order bottled water. It's a small, four dollar bottle of Fiji water. Overall, a perfect stop during our day trip.

Just Superb...service, food, location, atmosphere and value are exceptional. Had seafood platter (fried fish, coconut shrimp, crabcake, fries) dozen of oysters, pina colada, ny style cheesecake! Wow wow wow.

i adore this place. the hamburgers are so good! if you don't like a crowd then skip this place because it is always crowded. the condiments bar is open so if you're squeamish about other people breathing around your lettuce this isn't the place for you. their fish sandwich is very very good but I always get a burger!

Have you ever been to a place where you feel like you need instructions before getting in line? Well for us we were starving and wanting to watch the soccer game, so we pulled over to this place which has the smallest parking lot on earth for such a crazy packed place. It's actually like three different places in one... More

Happy hour is monday through friday 3-7pm. Imagine the food you get for $6. When food comes it is 4xbigger! House Rita is $4 and a topper of more liqueur is only $1! Tuesdays happy hour ends at midnight! Oceanview...wow! They have live bands Fri thru sun! They have four different bars. Don't get the wine ritas...they are too sweet.
