We had the surprise burrito - it has eggs, potatoes, beans, cheese and bacon inside a handmade tortilla. Really very good, hot and fresh. It was $4.25 and they really don't skimp on the ingredients. We will be back for breakfast for sure.

Breakfast is served till 11am. Ordered the Migas, scrambled eggs with onion, jalapeno & tomatoes served over tortilla strips with the best refried bean on the side, chunk potatoes and freshly made flour tortilla bigger than the plate. Large glasses of the strongest ice tea & cold beer. Nicely priced - breakfast for 2 under 20. Old place, not much... More

From the moment we walked in the door on that cold wet windy day to the time we got back in our car to leave, this place was such a wonderful experience. A friendly south of the boarder feel with more than fair prices, the meals were beautifully prepared with flavors that rounded up memories of an old world cantina... More

This was about the third time we've eaten here and the food has been great every time. This time we took our 12 yr old and two toddler sons. Our server Lettie was great! We ordered the big appetizer plate nachos and tacos and could barely eat it all. The green sauce for the chips made the short wait for... More

No greeting at the door, so we sat down on our own. We ordered the huevos rancheros. The beans were VERY watery, and the salsa tasted old the potatoes also tasted old. The corn tortillas tasted store bought. Don't even get me started on the bathrooms. No kids menus The waitress brought our food out and left us to our... More

We had a great experience in Galveston all weekend until we had our breakfast on the way out Sunday morning and chose this restaurant based on Island bites, staff picks. As soon as we walked in, horrible service...we had to ask for everything and never had our drinks re-filled. Food was blah, their posole which was reviewed in island bites... More

Two visits... two horrible meals. First time about 3 months ago my wife had a "Gordita" which loosely translated usually means "Fat Tortila". This one was one dried out, scrawny, semi-crunchy mess which fell apart at the first bite. Jack has much better tacos for 1/10 the price. The Shrimp Queso Fundido was ok; except it had too much yellow... More

I ordered the supreme nachos, the Botana for one, and my daughter ordered the Milanesa. NONE of these dishes were good. The meat was old and re-cooked. The fajitas didn't taste like they were fajitas at all. I was going to be rude and complain to get my money back but didn't have the heart to do so. Never will... More
