Good for Galveston

This is as good as you'll get in Galveston. The queso is excellent but everything else kind of tastes like Ninfa's...but the Ninfa's chains you find in malls not the original. Had a great lunch with colleagues from UTMB here, Service was really good and prompt. We had a tight schedule and were able to enjoy our meal. You can actually taste the freshness of the food. Tortillas were freshly made. Refried bean dishes were tasty. The salads as well were crisp and freshly prepared. Nice, simple decor - giving the... More

I usually visit the island at least once or twice a year. I always make this a stopping point. Everything was good including the service. The only thing i did not like is that they have changed up their salsa. It use to be very good. Now its like gressy and too much tomato paste..Hopefully they will go back to... More

Great chips, tacos, and tamales off the beaten, touristy path in Galveston, city of hurricanes, cruise ships, and remarkable architecture.

This is absolutely the best Mexican Restaurant in Galveston. Have been there five or six times and have not had a bad meal. It is wonderful in every respect. If you haven't been there, you are missing out. Make a trip to eat there.

This is my 3rd time here and each time the food is ok, but nothing to write home about. It's a little on the pricey side for tex-mex if you ask me. There isn't much else in Galveston that isn't a chain though and most places are on the high side and touristy. At least this place isn't touristy and... More

Nothing special about this place. Just ordinary Mexican restaurant that you could get at any other Mexican restaurant. My husband really liked the chicken chimichanga.

Visiting for spring break. Baha tacos, steak nachos and best bean dip with chips. Food was so delicious. Local favorite - would recommend highly to those visiting Galveston!

Since 1986 we have been coming to Mardi Gras in Galveston and although this isn't its "original" location it never fails to meet the needs of a hungover Mardi Gras Krewe. Their Mexican breakfast is top notch and soaks up all the booze and funnel cakes. Of course, hair of the dog, top shelf Ritas don't hurt either. Thanks for... More
