A few weeks ago a co-worker and I came to Galveston for a business trip. I wanted seafood, particularly crab legs, since we were so close to the ocean. We came here and I had the dungess crab legs. They were amazing and they were not falling short in supply. They gave me a decent amount, and the service was... More

We visited Fisherman's Wharf during our stay in Galveston for lunch one day. We started off with the fried pickles, which are the chip style with a thin, crisp batter. Very delicious! I had the fried seafood platter, which was good. I did really like the 'shrimp kisses,' which are shrimp wrapped in bacon and stuff with jack cheese. My... More

Our food was really good and the service was excellent but when the sun came down the mosquitoes were really bad. We had waited for an outside table with a view but wish we had been inside.

We have eaten here before and really loved it. Not so this time. They were totally unable to execute their menu. It seems that they are only frying food and not adding seasoning or doing quality control (do they need a head chef who understands flavor?). The presentations were equally dull. Service was prompt (although I detest being told by... More

I was in town with family and have dinned here before with a great experience. The only place to seat our party of 7 was up two flights of stairs. In our party we had two elderly ladies, a baby in a carrier, two year old and a 7 year old. What makes stairs a good option? I felt like... More

I go here every time I'm in Galveston, which is about six times a year. Waitstaff is always friendly and knowledgable. I haven't ordered any menu item that wasn't fresh and tasty. I highly recommend Fisherman's Wharf for seafood in Galveston.

The food was delicious! We sat outside by the water and enjoyed the scenery. The food was great! We went during happy hour and reasonably priced. Would recommend!

During a get away evening to Galveston, we dined at Fisherman's Wharf near the historic Strand District of Galveston. It has been a couple of years since we dined there, so we decided to have another go. After a short wait, we were seated at a table at the windows with a view of the Galveston Ship Channel. That is... More

We went mid-afternoon and was pleasantly surprised of the wonderful service and food presentation. The shrimp kisses are out of this world! The past two years we were able to see Mr. Fertitta's awesome yacht, but it was not in sight this year. I guess he is a little busy in Lake Charles these days. Either way, please do not... More

The views are interesting, ranging from a tall ship moored next door to two oil rigs being repaired across the water. The food was excellent, the crab cakes to die for. We're Brits so the portion size was a challenge. The New York cheesecake would feed a family of four. Staff excellent and the Dolphins an added bonus
