Great food and excellent service

The staff were great and the service excellent. The food was delivered quickly and was delicious. My friend had a fish dish and I had a shrimp pasta dish. We also had a crag quest type appetizer that was incredible. Highly recommend even though it's on the pricey side. Well worth it.

Had dinner with my family and ate outside. The tables extend out over the water and it was a pleasant Texas evening. I had the grilled red fish blackened which was labeled as a Gulf favorite. It was excellent and I recommend it. My wife and son both had the Dungeness Crab and thoroughly enjoyed them. From the ambiance to... More

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant. The service was very good. I had a shrimp and pasta dish, while my husband had a selection from the fresh fish list. Before the entrees were brought to the table, he was asked if he wanted the bones removed. This seemed to delay the delivery of our food. He had... More

Second visit to Fisherman's Wharf. Slow service, food was OK. Caters to tourist. Much better options in Galveston.

We were very hungry and had a few hours before jumping on our cruise ship so we grabbed some lunch here. We had an amazing view! We were seated right by the tall ship Elissa. This and excellent service made it a very pleasant lunch. Menu was typical seafood chain fare. The quality was eh. I had a pasta dish... More

Of all the restaurants we visted during our recent Galveston trip, this is the one which will not earn a return visit from us. Our server was very nice and attentive, so it was not due to her, but the meal was not worth the $110 we spent there for four people. We started with the Crab Queso. It was... More

Awesome appetizer called Shrimp Kisses! My husband and I shared this. If you go...do not share! There are only 5 delicious shrimp wrapped in bacon with cheese inside. Sadly there were NOT enough! If I was to go again I would make a meal of Shrimp Kisses. OMG! I had the special, Blackened Catfish, and my husband had battered fish... More

While visiting Galveston, my GF suggested this restaurant this she had visited previously, and we were not disappointed. Unfortunately, the weather was lousy - so foggy couldn't even see the port, but we didn't let that stop us from enjoying our meal. Tried a new fish - Golden Tile. Was FANTASTIC!!! Not alot of people in the restaurant this night so... More

You can't go wrong eating at Fishermans Wharf. The food is wonderful, especially their fried shrimp! The location is ideal. The Elissa Tall ship is berthed at Fishermans, you are only a couple blocks from the shopping of The Strand, the Railroad Museum, and many other fun and educational things to do. If you aren't hungry for a wonderful, ample... More
