Nothing fancy, just good food.

My brother in law suggested this place. Great seafood, especially the crab balls. You won't leave here hungry that's for sure. We'll be back the next time we are in Texas.

Bennos is a nice beach front restaurant with a family oriented atmosphere. You can enjoy your southern style seafood overlooking the beach. Portions are generous, food is simple not sophisticated at all but it taste really good. Recommend to come during the week because on the weekends can get really overcrowded

A local joint by the looks of customers inside. Nothing grand about the decor, just good seafood. I had the fried oysters and shrimp combination. It comes with fries and coleslaw, hush puppies and 2 sauce's. Lots were having crawfish, and it was a heaping platter with corn and potatoes. I will try it when I return.

It was our first time in Galveston so we asked for suggestions for seafood. Benno's was recommended by a bunch of locals. We had both the fried and grilled seafood. The portions were huge (you might even want to go with the children's portion) and delicious. We ate outdoors with the warning not to leave our plates for even one... More

This is definitely not a chain. Order at the counter then they will bring the food out to your table. The seafood is very fresh and the bread pudding is over the top.

Housed in what used to be Burger Chef, when we were kids, this seafood spot is a local favorite. 2nd Best tartar sauce, only because the secret recipe was a gift from the best. Try the grilled seafood platter, then come back for the crawfish.

This is great seafood, especially this time of year. The boiled crawfish was cooked just right. The place was a bit crowded since it was Spring Break, but it was worth it. We also got the fried shrimp and crab fingers. We were stuffed by the time we made it out of there.

My husband loves Cajun, so naturally we headed to Benno's for their food. The restaurant was crowded, as usual, but they seem to handle the crowds in an efficient manner. We ordered the shrimp with corn on the cob. The half pound of shrimp was well seasoned and more than we could eat at one time - made for great... More

Benno's was recommended to us by a friend as well as the fishing guide we spent a day with in the gulf. The place is popular and right on a busy part of the beach, so it fills up quickly in the evening. We were in line about 10 minutes to place our order at the counter, but noticed that... More
