Great pulled pork!

My first time at Queen's, although I had read several positive reviews. There was a special of two sliders and two sides, with or w/o beverage. I ordered pulled pork. The sliders were excellent, and I would have liked more of that pork! For sides, I got coleslaw and potato salad; they were ok... read more

Too expensive, lousy BBQ, they nickle and dime you for absolutely every single thing; even things that every other BBQ joint gives you for dressing your sandwich. A real ripoff!

my husband and I got a variety platter and shared. We reLly liked the roof and the sauce. This was my first taste of Texas barbecue. But the next day I was miserable with bloating, gas and the runs. My husband had the runs too. We did not drink the tea. I had a beer and he had a soda.... More

The potato was huge, and it was stuffed with all the trimmings - butter, cheese, sour cream, a sprinkling of green onions and a small helping of chipped barbecue beef. My daughter and I shared it and still failed to finish it. It was good, but not great. There wasn't even a hint of smoke on the meat and the... More

We went on vacation for a week in Galveston and this restraunt was very pleasant. We experienced kind and helpful staff. The atmosphere had a nice rustic feel. The only reason I an giveing 4 stars is because the food was good not great!

The only thing I disliked was when all my food was gone! The ribs were amazing and the briscuit was even better...and that sauce...yummy!

I asked a local and this is what was recommended. They have great variety of food choices including jumbo baked potatoes loaded with your choice of meat and toppings. We chose to have the senior citizen special which included a sandwich, one side and a drink for 5.99. Since I am watching my portions, this was a perfect choice. I... More

We have been there twice since coming to Galveston. We are on a mission to try many of the Trip Advisor recommendations, knowing also that individual tastes come into ratings. We both loved the pulled pork. Their special had two sliders, 2 sides and a drink and priced very reasonably. We tried the beef, but like the pork much better.... More

We went to Queen's on a recommendation. It was okay, but . . . . The ribs were acceptable, but the taste clashed a bit with the sauce. The brisket was swimming in sauce, and you could not taste the meat. The sausage was *very* good. The green beans were nicely peppery. The rest was forgettable. Do not see this... More
