Finally got off Seawall blvd. and headed for the S&S as per a recommendation. Labor Day Sunday and we parked with no problems, around 6:30 pm. Only a short line (but it got longer with time) and plenty of seating. I had a cup of shrimp gumbo; lots of small-medium size shrimp, well seasoned, and not too much rice. It's... More

The fish taco was excellent. Loved the clams. Coconut shrimp was great. You order at the counter and pick up your food. It was efficient and fast. The prices are very good. I would go back and will recommend to everyone who comes to Galveston!

Really, really, really good food. And its not that expensive. Went to eat with the family, they were just a couple of minutes before closing, and they still gave us extraordinary service. I recomend this place, and I will definitely be back.

We tried a variety of things here. Any time we go someplace where everything is served on Styrofoam, we know it's going to be good. The coleslaw and shrimp gumbo were excellent. Oddly enough, the fried shrimp was not all that great. However, the other fried items were good. This place is a little further inland, so you'll need to... More

OK is all oysters better than the fish or shrimp. Guess they where out of the crab balls our takeout was missing them.

Shrimp and stuff is a nice seafood restaurant. Its not fancy, dining room tables and pub tables. The indoor space is smallish, and there can be a crowd on Friday night. Recommend getting there early for less claustrophobic feeling and parking. Park on the street or on the side, its a one way street so if you pass the entrance... More

This is a little local place on Ave O that you would not find if you were not looking for it. But, it is one of my favorite places on the island because the food is very good and very well priced.

It's been a while since I have been at this restaurant. The three of us had shrimp - two with the standard fried shrimp and one with a popcorn shrimp platter. Don't buy the popcorn shrimp - too much batter and very little shrimp. Do buy the 5/8/12 piece shrimp platter. The shrimp aren't as big as the old days,... More

We really loved this restaurant when we tried it last year, but it was not nearly as good this year and we weren't inclined to go back again.

We went there the other night and it was pretty packed, the whole place smelled delicious! We checked out the menu, ordered our food, it came out, we ate it, it was great! Almost everything there is fried, but there isnt anything wrong with that! We will be back.
