This restaurant was recommended to us at our resort. Alot of locals eat there and it was terribly crowded after lunch. The only bad thing I can say is that it is mostly fried foods.

This is a funky local restaurant that is island life embodied. Food is basic but good, plentiful and inexpensive. It is in a residential area and looks like it has been there for years. Shrimp baskets, fish, oysters...you name it, they got it and with great slaw and fries and a cold beer, you won't go wrong or hungry!

This is a campy seafood stop. Reasonable prices and pretty good food. Order at the counter. Pretty busy on weekends

Great local restaurant that was recommended to us. Loved the food and the atmosphere. Met long time friends here for dinner and we sat on the patio and enjoyed the food, the drinks, and the conversation, all at a relaxed pace.

We have eaten here every visit to Galveston since the late 70's. My favorite place to eat there. I always get the fried shrimp and oysters, comes with a side of fries and cole slaw. Great Fresh seafood at good prices. In a residential area, 39th and O, in between the Strand and Seawall. A must go place to eat... More

While visiting Galveston, we wanted to eat somewhere off the beaten path. I found this place on Trip Advisor, and the reviews were good. We loved it! I ordered the shrimp po boy sandwich with seasoned fries, and my husband ordered the shrimp dinner with coleslaw and regular fries. The food was reasonably priced, and servings were perfect! The service... More

Nice restaurant! Casual spot but with a nice vibe. I would come back for sure. Shrimp salad was fantastic. Do not miss. We will be back!

Place your order at the counter and sit outside in the courtyard if you can. The food is very good. The menu is large. The prices are reasonable. Nothing fancy. Love to have lunch here. A great bargain. Love the fried oyster poor boys!

This place is obviously one that locals enjoy. There is a menu board above the counter and you order your food there. You are called when your food is ready. We had the shrimp po'boy. It had 6 large shrimp which was plenty. I'm used to having popcorn shrimp on po'boys so it was a bit of a shock. Anyway,... More

"where the locals eat" with good less expensive seafood. Shrimp n. Stuff lives up to its motto quoted on its delivery trucks. Place has good reputation and has been open since 1976 despite being nowhere near the main tourist areas. It is on the corner of 39th&O in a basic residential part of Galveston. Interior is light and airy and... More
