More than a fry house

The fried fish was fried fish. However, the boiled shrimp were excellent - large and nicely seasoned. The cocktail sauce was hot & spicy. The gumbo had a nice roux & like home. Tartar sauce was bad either. I would return especially with the price.

If you like shrimp, you must go to Shrimp & Stuff. It's a bit off the beaten trail which is a good thing when Seawall is bumper to bumper traffic. We tried stuffed shrimp, fried shrimp and shrimp salad. And, the gumbo. Talk about heaven in a styrofoam bowl. I was trying to figure out how I could get it... More

We had a party of 10 who ate here while on vacation on Galveston Island. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. The coconut shrimp were small and very greasy. I do not even know what the "dip" for the shrimp was. It was brown and thin and sweet. That is all I can tell you. Did not really... More

First time here and was excited to see there was a few people eating here. The outdoor seating is nice. Now the food....the fried fish & shrimp basket very bland. The breading sucked. It reminded me of the frozen fish patties from the grocery store! I got a fish taco and split a tilapia poboy with my kid. I was very... More

We went after we found it on the Internet not what we expected it's like a fast food seafood place. The resturants itself was very clean and the help was very nice and friendly.when we looked it up it also states boiled seafood however the only boiled option was shrimp and very pricey. We mostly ordered the create your own... More

I order the fried shrimp, not ever again. It was grey and tasted old. It came with hushpuppys which had jalapenos in them that i did not care for. I thought a local place would be better, not in this case.

Shrimp and Stuff has some of the best fried seafood I have ever eaten. The oysters are especially good - crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. They are served with cole slaw, fries and hush puppies. We especially enjoy eating outside on the patio which is reminiscent of New Orleans. The restaurant is located in... More

It is easy for visitors to get caught up with the Seawall and the many restaurants lining it. But, visitors should head off the Seawall to try a "Locals" place with very good seafood, especially if it is lunch time. Hey, the menu covers everything you would want for Gulf Coast seafood. This is not a dress-up place. Try it... More

The fried shrimp is awsome here and they have boudin, This is good food very reasonable. If you are in galveston stop by shrimp and stuff and get a great meal cheap.

This is a true local charm! Fried is the key word. Prices are great. We had fried crawfish and crab claws. You get slaw and fries. It is a must try because of being a neighborhood favorite. BTW . . You can get it Walk Up!
