Our 1st Anniversary vacation dinner

The wait time is usually a hour plus, so call ahead or be prepared to wait. Great views, outdoor as well as indoor seating. Food quality is good ( our 1st choice of dining while in the area) we try to go twice a year to enjoy Bolivar peninsula while camping on Crystal beach. Wait staff has to... read more

Wonderfull service and food. Melissa was a great server and took great care of us. The food was very good. Get the Shrimp Kisses for a starter. Would eat her again!

We eat at Fishtails often when we are in Galveston. Everything I have had on the menu has been fresh and very tasty. Drinks are plentiful and varied. Wait staff very helpful and keep your needs met.

Enjoyed our lunch overlooking the beach and the Pleasure Pier. I had a salad with shrimp that was really good, and my daughter enjoyed her burger. Service was perfect, lots of menu choices. It's a great first place to stop when you get to town, close to the ferry.

The food was okay just average nothing to rave about. The drinks were off the chart expensive and the waiters will try to get you to sign us for the Landrys club card. Everything was a bit over priced.

Long wait time, though there were plenty of table open and no long waiting line, but we still have to wait for about an hour to get the table and when finally we got the table staff did not know which table is for us, lack of communicating from staff at front end to the staff at upper deck, so... Was a little skeptical when we saw the ratings for this restaurant but gave it a try anyway and we are glad we did! We had a great time with a fun waiter (Rico Suarez), upstairs seating, and had a wonderful seafood dinner. After learning it was owned by Landry's I was doubly glad we picked Fish Tales.

The food at Fish Tales is very good! Every time we go to Galveston we eat on the balcony here to get that "beachy" feeling. The seafood is always great!

We stopped here after the Duck Tour yesterday. My kids had mango ice cream and my husband and I had chocolate shakes. The cost was about $20 which is pricey. We didn't eat anything else there. The environment was great. They have a view of the Pleasure Pier and beach area.

We stopped to eat here after a long day in Galveston. The service and food were good. I can't say it's the best seafood in Galveston, but it was good. We sat on the upper deck which was nice. Dealing with the parking lot, parking voucher, and traffic were a bit harrowing, however.
