Once a year we go to Galveston and each time this is where we choose to eat. Love the food and view and very family friendly. Parking is no longer a problem now that they have a pay to park area and your meal covers the parking fee.

My family loves this Restraunt! We eat here at least 2x every visit to Galveston. Food is great, my husband loves the fried shrimp, but for me it is the crab cake sandwich. Also, try their deserts the pecan pie in the best.

Always enjoy the atmosphere at Fish Tales, the shrimp kisses are wonderful. A bit pricey but most places in Galveston are.

Excellent location to have some Shrimp Kisses and a few cocktails and enjoy the view. Right across from the new Pleasure Pier. Excellent upstairs patio seating. This is one of our go-to places for consistently good food & service.

Came in for dinner. Wait for a table was an hour. We came to the bar and found another couple leaving a table so we were able to get it with out a wait. The service was good and the food was good. It came down to the check and at the last minute it went up by $8.00, interesting.

Since we live in Houston, we can come during less busy times. During the summer, or Mardi Gras, it is crazy busy. The food is your typical chain seafood restaurant food, however, when they are not busy it comes out hot, delicious and the waitstaff is happier to serve you, we go when it's not so busy so at that... The food was awesome! We had the fish and chips and a po' boy. A bit pricey but delicious and well worth it. Check out the bathroom, they have a cool sink. Plus they have ice cream.

Whenever I go to Galveston this is where I love to eat, lunch or dinner. I don't know if they do breakfast. The service has always been excellent and every meal has been wonderful. I love to sit outside on the balcony and watch what is going on. I discovered Fish Tails a few years ago when my best friend... More

We've dined here twice, once by chance and again by invitation, a surprise we could not turn down without being rude. Both times were the same. Very crowded, loud noises throughout the entire restaurant and overpriced fried, greasy seafood barely fit to eat. Given the choice we'd choose elsewhere.
