Stopped in for dinner about 7 pm on a Wed evening. Sat outside with a great view of the Pleasure Pier across the street - but the amount of seagulls flying above our heads and walking near our feet was a bit much. We ordered the flounder dinner and an appetizer of hush puppies. The hush puppies... read more

Had a wonderful meal and sat outside with a great view. The food was typical seafood but with several exceptions that the staff helped point out. which made the dining experience enjoyable. The deck was a wonderful place to eat and socialize and would eat here again.

My husband and I were blown away by the quality of the food and the service at Fish Tales. Our waitress recommended a sauteed Redfish and it was amazing. Located in a perfect spot across from the Pleasure Pier so we enjoyed some cocktails on the patio while people watching. A must if you want to leave full and satisfied!

The shrimp lettuce wraps were delicious. The platter had many delicious chouces. Attentive wait staff. Great place across from the pier.

I was in Houston on a two day business trip and managed to convince my colleagues to have a two hour detour to Galveston before heading to the airport. Came here because it was recommended, and also because it had a Pressed Penny Machine (I collect). Good meal, collected my pennies, job done!

Fried food was a touch greasy but it was later in the day. Fish fillets were good, the shrimp was outstanding. The crab balls were very good and highly recommended. Hush puppies were a touch bland. View from upper deck was nice and service was great

Reasonably priced family atmosphere with great service. If you can get a seat up top near the window you can watch the waves roll in. A Landry's restaurant.

Didn't order any food we were just grabbing drinks from each place we saw. The wait took 15 minutes to bring the drinks after we ordered. Once we got them they were tiny little margaritas for $8. One of them let us keep the cup which was nice but as far as the wait, they were slow and took forever... More

The service was great and the food was good. I found out later that this is part of the same chain as Landry's. You will have a good view of the bright lights of the Pleasure Pier if you ask for a table toward the windows. Can't complain. Fun place to dine.

I came last weekend to fish tales while we were in town. We had to wait a while but that was to be expected for that and pleasure pier. We got in and the service was excellent and the food was pretty good. Did have a small problem my wife is allergic and got a steak and I guess the... More
