No Bones About It

Good meal, good view, fun time. Calamari done just like we like. Seafood Platter was great and LOTS of food. The Tuna Steak was grilled just right. Our server was delightful, but a little slow on drink refills. However, when back at Fish Bones I would be happy to have him serve us.

We were in Galveston with kids (8 and 5). We had lunch at Fish Tales. It's a great location, across from the beach and Pleasure Pier. We were able to sit upstairs on the deck, which made it so much fun for our children. The view is great. You can watch people and attractions. We had no complaints waiting for... More

Ate a scrumptious lunch here. Sat on second floor directly across from the pier. What we liked: 1. Lovely view of the pier, the water, and all the happy tourists. 2. Outstanding service from Bennie (Benito). Keep that man on the payroll! He was friendly, helpful, and attentive. He really made the food taste even better. 3. We ordered a... More

Walking in smelled fishy, OK were at a fish restaurant, had the fish basket, fries tasted like fish, thought the fish would be good. Worst cod I have ever had. Obviously everything is fried in the same nasty oil. Grand daughters chicken nuggets tasted like fish. $50 lunch worst food ever. Waitress was good, I'd never go back.

We were in Galveston for 1 day. We ate at Fish tales for Dinner. The wait time wasnt bad. I believe it was 35 minutes. The beach was right across the street so me and my daugther waited at the beach until they sent us a text. The food was okay. I thought it was a little pricey compares to... More

We were in Galveston for 4 days, ate here twice. Great view of the Gulf beach, right across from the Pleasure Pier. Large upper deck dining with good food, good tropical style drinks.

We eat there every year when we to to Galveston, it's part of a family thing, our trip is not complete until we go there. Good food, service, ice cream, but go early it is always crowded.

Colleagues of mine and I were attending a convention and we wanted to eat somewhere besides the hotel. Fish Tales was within a comfortable walking distance and we had a great time there. Our waiter didn't attempt to hurry us to finish and we were there a little past closing time.

Great food and drinks. Just be warned that if the winds kicks it up high your table umbrella might just fly off! That is what almost happened to me when I was there. No worries the restaurant people will just take it down and that is all. This place offers a parking voucher if you spend 25 or more; meaning... More
