Fresh from the sea

We enjoyed the superb service and the homemade bread, but the outstanding lobster bisque left my tastebuds crying for more. The seabass was light, crisp, tasty. The almond-coconut crusted salmon was very nice. If only I wasn't still thinking about the lobster bisque... it's the best I've ever had.

Trip advisor has this as #23 restaurant in Galveston -- well, can't imagine any fine dining places being any better. Everything we had -- the almond crusted salmon, the bouillabaisse, the two special salads (including the apple/gorgonzola) were excellent. And the service was genuinely friendly and attentive. Big city high quality at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

A great place in downtown Galveston away from the tourist crowds recommend by the owner of the B&B we are staying at. Go for their specials, and don't be shy to ask the server for the best recommendation. Snapper was divine and the tuna tower appetizer was special. Waiting for our desert now. Oh, wait! It is here.

Hands down the best customer service in Galveston. Came here during a very busy Fourth of July weekend dinner and they were able to get us in and provide amazing service. Our waiter was Travis. We will be back before we leave and will request him again. We had the house Red Snapper & Ribeye and they were both phenomenal.

Not one for heavy sauces and coatings on any fish, I ventured out of my comfort zone ordering "almond coconut crusted salmon" on the menu. The waiter had assured me that the sauce was light, not heavy at all, although the coating is yellow and looks as if it would be quite substantial. Salmon lover that I am, I ordered... More

Had a nice dinner here with the hubs. Started off sharing a nice wedge salad which they kindly served on two plates. Shared a seafood cocktail of lump crab meat and 6 jumbo shrimp. My hubs enjoyed the mixed grill of snapper and shrimp. I had crab cakes and lobster risotto. It was all superb. Service was wonderful. Enjoyed our... More

We were visiting Galveston and met friends there for dinner. It was a wonderful meal and experience. Robin our waitress suggested a wine that they were going to add to the list but was featured at a low price and it was a great wine. We had a great meal and great service. We visited so long we realized we... More

We had a lovely morning wandering around Galveston looking at the architecture and arrived at this restaurant a little late at 2pm. It was quiet but we were very hungry and we were glad we stayed. The food was exceptional - the tuna tower and the breaded asparagus just great. We wanted sauvignon blanc to drink and couldn't decide so... More

Went there for lunch 2 days in a row w/ a friend. Enjoyed the fish tacos, oyster sandwich, lobster bisque, corn soup, Saltwater salad. The bread and butter they serve is wonderful too! Staff was very welcoming and kind on the first visit and not quite as much on the 2nd visit. The dressing on the Saltwater salad was so... More
