We were first sent here by some of the locals while on our honeymoon. It's a mom and pop type place. Nice atmosphere, and quiet. Their food is impeccable! Genuine Italian food with your choice of tomato or cream sauces. Just the perfect amount of sauce, and not drowning the food with it like most do. Their Italian Cream cake... More

Ate a wonderful dinner here with my parents. The atmosphere and service was great and the food was even better. I had fettucine Alfredo with shrimp and mushrooms that was outstanding. My father ordered redfish with lump crab topping that was prepared perfectly. This restaurant is off the beaten path away from the tourists. We travel to galveston frequently and... More

Family owned authentic Italian food. It's off the beaten path which is a nice change. The portions are huge and the staff is very friendly. Their primary pasta is Angel Hair and it was cooked perfectly. I very much liked their meat sauce and husband liked his plain red sauce. The garlic "bread" is a little strange; but adequate. When... This family run restaurant is the best in Galveston or Texas for that matter. It doesn't get better food than this well know locals spot. Lasagna is the best but everything on the menu is great. Try the marinated ribeye steak. (It's a secret family receipt). Don't miss this one!

Tradiational old Italian family-owned kind of restaurant. The food was good, felt like I was dining in a 1940s Italian restaurant. Chicken parm was big and very good - could easily have split the meal. Desserts were wonderful - we had canolis and cheesecake. Garlic bread was different but tasty, but the French bread pizza was a bit of a... More

The one good thing I can say about Di Bella's is that the pasta tasted fresh. After that, it appeared and tasted out of a can. Wish them the best, but they could really use some help in the kitchen.

We stopped at DiBella's on our trip to Galveston. This place is great. Has a long history in the city and lots of locals eat here. Anything on the menu with red sauce is worth getting. We love the lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs.

Have eaten at DiBella's several times over the years. Just a great little no frills type local neighborhood Italian restaurant. Love going with friends. They are kid friendly as well. We bring our own wine sometimes and not a big fan of the $12 corking fee. However, the food is consistently good and deserts are very good. Highly recommend this... More
