The one good thing I can say about Di Bella's is that the pasta tasted fresh. After that, it appeared and tasted out of a can. Wish them the best, but they could really use some help in the kitchen.

We stopped at DiBella's on our trip to Galveston. This place is great. Has a long history in the city and lots of locals eat here. Anything on the menu with red sauce is worth getting. We love the lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs.

Went with family a table of four. Greeted by a friendly server and we were seated. The owner stopped to chat & was very friendly, he checked back to see if we needed anything We all had pasta, 1 meat ball, 1 sausage, and 2 lasagna's. All serviced with salad and garlic bread. With a bottle of red wine and... More

Have eaten at DiBella's several times over the years. Just a great little no frills type local neighborhood Italian restaurant. Love going with friends. They are kid friendly as well. We bring our own wine sometimes and not a big fan of the $12 corking fee. However, the food is consistently good and deserts are very good. Highly recommend this... More

I AM a local & have been a few times for both lunch & dinner. Some dishes (spaghetti with garlic butter & mushrooms) are great. Some (meatballs-HORRIBLE) are not. Their 'complimentary' garlic bread is just some plain old bread. No flavor & they have the gall to put it on their menu that if you want more it costs extra........ More

we ate the first night on the recommendation of the barman at the bar next to the country inn and suites and so enjoyed the meal that we booked for the next night which was even better - the first time that I had eaten soft shell crab where you consume the whole thing, legs and all - delicious and... Charlie and his staff have the best little hidden gem in Galveston. This place rocks with it's food and service. You must stop by for dinner. I suggest calling to make sure they have room but well worth it.

Parking is non-existent. You find a spot in the neighborhood streets. The atmosphere was ok, but after opening the menu and reading the "rules" such as keeping your kids controlled, and how much bread you can have, we were somewhat put off. The food was mediocre at best, and nothing worth putting in a to-go box. The menu, or the... More

Got the crab claws, Ravioli Combo, Carbonara, Chicken Alfredo, and Fish Louis. The fish was terrific. I ate it all. We had to go on a long constitutional afterwards to settle our overfilled stomachs. Worth it. The fettucini alfredo is among the best anywhere. the ravioli is my wife and daughter's favorite. The setting is tight and dark, seating is... More
