Wonderful Bruch Menu

This place says "a little bit of everything" and it does! I was there on a Sunday for Brunch. It was very difficult to decide what to order. Everything coming out of the kitchen look fabulous! I decided on the Texas Eggs Benedict and a mimosa. I loved it! It is slow to get your food but I... read more

We live on the island and go here quite often! It is so awesome! Everyone is so nice and the service is great too! The chicken fried steak is the best! I highly recommend this place!!

Galveston has a lot of overpriced tourist trap restaurants. This is not one of them. It's slightly off the beaten track, a local casual lunch and dinner place, by the UTMB medical center, worth the extra five minute drive. Not fancy, but clean and pleasantly decorated. Not quite gourmet, but with a bit of flair. Family friendly. I had the... More

We found Farley Girls at 8 pm for a delicious dinner. The shrimp and grits is a great dish with fresh spinach and a polenta flair; my daughter had the Baja Tacos which were also yummy with a lime cilantro taste. See photos!

Their take on some classics (eggs benedict, sandwiches, etc.) is really good. Higher than some but more gourmet. A bit loud but great service and quick. Off the beaten path by UTMB near downtown.

This was a pretty good place. The shrimp and grits were amazing. My husband had the mile high meat loaf, and he said it was good but nothing fabulous. One restroom was out of order and the other didn't have paper towels, so that was kind of inconvenient. Our waitress was very attentive, and there are a lot of neat... More

My wife & I are long time residents of Galveston County. We are retired and eat out frequently at restaurants in the Houston-Galveston area. Though we've patronized all the "best" restaurant on Galveston Island, we only recently discovered Farley Girls Cafe, a block from the University of Texas Medical Branch hospital, while my wife getting treatment at UTMB. Altough the... More

Food is unique and full of flavor. It's hard to find a restaurant that always has consistent service and food! You'll even see the owners busing tables and delivering food.

Every single time we go to Galveston, we make it a point to go to Farley Girls. We've tried just about every item on their menu, and have enjoyed all. Our favorites, though, are their grits with eggs on top, their breakfast pizza and benedict eggs. Excellent value for the price you pay. We highly recommend!

A "foodie" friend who lives in Galveston introduced us to this restaurant. I enjoyed fresh Goat Cheese and Pecan Salad, and my husband raved about his Shrimp & Grits. The interior is well-maintained, preserving enough historic detail to make it welcoming and quaint. It's bright and comfortable inside. We will definitely visit again next time we are on the island.
