A Convenient Spot for a Quick Dinner

We were here on a Tuesday evening, and it was busy, but not too bad. The menu has a variety of options, everything from sandwhiches and salads, to pasta, to stuffed baked potatoes. My kids' meals, various sandwhiches and soups, looked great. The broccoli cheese soup was pretty tasty. I was a little... read more

Good food, fast service and great people watching. Everything you could ask for in a restaurant! Decent kids menu and excellent adult one!

I came to Houston area to make client visits and I had them cater a lunch for the staff of an office I do business with. Both myself and the dozen people I treated to lunch were impressed with the presentation of the luncheon sandwiches, side dishes and beverages. These guys know how to make sandwiches.

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon about 2:30 to order a salad. I was told the wait was 45 - 60 minutes. I looked around and there were only five folks there. When I asked why, I was told that they fill the call in orders first. Awful way of doing business, so I took mine elsewhere.

My mother and I shared the Orange Cranberry Club sandwich and it was delicious. The deli was busy and we chose to sit outside on the covered patio right on the seawall to enjoy the sea breeze and people watch. The manager stopped by our table twice to make sure we had everything we needed as well as drink refills.... More

This was the slowest and dirtiest Mcalisters Deli we have ever visited. We began to think they had forgotten about us. The floors were dirty and several tables needed to be cleaned. I got my food and it was missing the dressing. I went ask the lady and she stated she was going to have to speak with the cooks... More

Our group of 8 went here for lunch. I had the mufaletta, (spelling?) which was huge. It could have fed four people. It is a good thing it was big because everybody in our group of 8 had to have huge bites. Really good with super soft fresh bread and plenty of meat, melted cheese, and olive spread.

Exceptional service and food! The staff here are friendly and know how to treat their customers right. The menu is extensive with fresh salads, hot and cold sandwiches, pasta and desserts. They also offer a great selection of sweet teas. The Italian salad and Southwest Turkey melt were delicious! It also offers a great view of the gulf. We love... More

Charming deli on the sea wall. They have a good selection of hot and cold sandwiches. I had the French Dip which came with sharp cheddar and chips, fries, or soup on the side. I thought the sandwich was excellent, the ambiance very pleasant, and the service was very good.

I ate here this evening with my niece. She got the BLT and macaroni and cheese and loved every bite! I had half roast beef and cheddar and half southwest salad. The salad was large for being "half" but I didn't care for the flavors. My sandwich had great flavor but it was mostly bread. I will probably go back... More
