We picked up a yummy pecan coffee cake and a couple of cookies and a cupcake as we were headed out of town. Everything was very tasty, if not a tad too sweet (which most people seem to prefer, just not me). There were no prices posted anywhere (hate that) so I guess they figure if you need to ask... More

My husband and I ate at the Mosquito Cafe and then stopped here across the street for a little treat. I had a sugar cookie in the shape of a fish, and my hubby had a huge chocolate chip cookie. The flavor of each cookie was so fresh that it had to have been made that morning! They were perfectly... More

It's always a treat to find fresh and delicious cookies, breads, cakes, nut breads, etc. when traveling. This bakery is owned by the Mosquito Cafe across the street. We liked the baked goods so much we stopped by twice while we were on the Island for just a few days!

This is a cute bakery that puts a big smile on your face the minute you walk in the door. The cakes look fantastic and a great selection of cookies. The cake balls were so moist and delicious. There were items here that I've never seen before. We especially liked all the fun colors they used when decorating the goodies.... More

If you're on Galveston Island, make sure you stop by this bakery to get some wonderful treats. The store sells a good variety of things from muffins to cake balls to whole cakes. The chocolate crinkle cookies are phenomenal, soft and chewy on the inside with a slight crunch in the outside. The apple strudel, sold whole, makes for an... More

I stopped here twice during our stay on Glaveston Island. The Almond Petit Fours were the best I have ever had. Everything we had was very good. The St. Louis Gooey bars were so good. Also had macaroon cookies and toffee cookies. What a treat. You can't go wrong here.

We had the cake pops and they were so moist and delicious! The only bad thing is they are closed on Monday's. The staff was very friendly.

During a two-day trip, I was at Patty Cakes twice. Their gluten free cookies are miraculous. Chocolate chip cookies were buttery goodness oozing with chocolate. Their macaroons divine. Their GF coconut/brown sugar whatever-they-ares made me aware that there are actually cookies worth eating that don't contain chocolate. Please open a bakery in San Antonio!

Stopped by to see what they had and took home some almond petit fours. They were fabulous and very similar to my favorite British treat Battenburg Cake. Went back the next day to get some more things..tried the NY Crumb Cake, macaroons, choc crinkle cookie, shortbread and cupcake. Obviously a talented trained crew. Front staff are very friendly. This place... More
