The French toast was very good I would get it again anytime. Hubby got the biscuits and gravy and was not impressed, the gravy was yellow which was a first for us both. Service was ok. If in the mood for French toast it is worth the trip.

This was our second visit to Shykatz for breakfast. My boyfriend ordered a veggie omelet and I ordered a breakfast sandwich. From the time we ordered it took 45 minutes to get our food out of the kitchen. It was good but not worth the wait time. Do not go here if you are pressed for time.

Went for a late breakfast. Had the Katastrophic, which is ham, eggs, potatoes, cheese, over biscuits, smothered in gravy and topped with bacon. You have to try this at least once. My wife had an excellent egg, chhese, and sausage sandwich. Friendly atmosphere and service. Will come back for lunch to try one of their sandwiches.

Way to pricey!!! We took a family of 4 adults and 2 kids for lunch (based on previous trip advisor reviews) and the total for 6 sandwiches and drinks was $80!!!! Ridiculous for a family just looking for a quick lunch while on vacation, especially since it is a hole in the wall shack in a sketchy location. Should have... More

They had very good french toast and hamburgers. It is great if you just want to get away from the tourist eateries.

They tout this place as one of the best for breakfast. Do not stop. The gravy was a pink color, the food cold.. absolutely horrid. Left & went to Shipleys donuts. Best move I made

Best tomato grilled cheese ever, and I don't even like tomatoes, I just got it for the sake of adventure.

Home cooked food at a great price! A hidden jewel in Galveston. Love the mom & pop place! Homemade bread! Friendly wait staff and very clean!
