This restaurant was already busy when we invaded them with a party of twelve. They graciously moved tables and chairs to accomodate our group. We clearly strained their resources but their waitstaff and kitchen handled our group well. Food was a little slow coming out and the owner apologized as we had backed up the kitchen somewhat. When the food... More

My husband and I were looking for something different for lunch. We found Lecroys and thought we would give it a try. By 1:00 pm they were already out of items on the menu. Beer choices were slim because they were "out". I ordered red wine but was brought a white wine. We decided on salads hoping they weren't out... More

Found this small, out of the way place, on a Sunday when most nice restaurants in the downtown area were closed. Waiter was very helpful and funny and guided us in what we should eat. I tried the Gumbo and found it to be a bit too spicy for my taste. He told me how to calm it down by... More

We made a point to find the new location as our previous visit on the strand was so good. Wow! So disappointed. The food was good (my steak was a little undercooked, short on the crawfish in the étouffée, but the best grilled cheese ever!). Everybody else in our party loved their food. We had two Tweens with us...one spilled... More

They have moved from their old location on the Strand, but still serve good food. Their menu still favors the New Orleans flair that they had.

This is a great little restaurant with great food - especially their desserts. Not a fancy place and is off Post Office but definitely worth dining at. Reasonable priced and very casual atmosphere.

We were delighted by the savory food but the service was lacking even when we brought it to their attention. We were a party of 8 but service still could have been better. What saved the evening was the wonderful food. The filet was cooked perfectly and the shrimp mimosa was delicious in a tasty rich sauce. The highlight for... More

We had the following specials: Angus sirloin filet with a burgundy mushroom sauce over mashed potatoes with a vegetable medley. It was awesome! The steak was medium well, tender and full of juicy flavor! My son had fried catfish with seasoned sweet potato fries. Very fluffy fish and crispy crust. My wife had delicious grilled crab cakes with remoulade sauce.... More

Went in before a show at The Grand and wished we hadn't. Waiter was just bad. Could not get a drink or a refill when we did get one. Ordered the special and the fish was raw. Come on its a piece of redfish anyone can cook that. Sent it back and guess what they re-cooked my piece of fish.... More

Went based on someone else's recommendation and it was great! Shared Boudin Balls, Combination plate, and bread pudding with my husband and we both throughly enjoyed. Would have liked to have tried more but our visit ended. It was a slow night and service was ok, but the food made up for that.
